Advertisement problems

No, that's not the same survey. The other one was actually about SC, this one is apparently a third-party site, and I just wasn't sure that it's supposed to be here.

Ah. Well. I've taken the survey that you're talking about here twice. Nothing bad has happened to me. I don't find the actual ad overly annoying, either. So I don't have any personal problem with it. But I'd understand why some would prefer it not to pop up.

Whoops, I made a new thread about the ad problem I'm having because I didn't notice this one.

Well, as I didn't mention this, I'm currently using Google Chrome v. 19.0.1084.56

I don't know about some of you but that red carpet ad is driving me nuts i try not to scroll over it and the thing still plays on me grrrr

There is this "play free games online" ad that covers the top of the screen and stays in the same spot as you scroll down. When you scroll to the top it blocks the entire toolbar. I can't find anyway to X off this ad.

Annoying... Sorry about that - If you can screenshot it we can send it on to the ad people.

Without screenshots it is hard for us to escalate ad issues and resolve them as that is the first thing I'll be asked to provide when making a complaint.

Actually it turns out it was one of my computers many viruses. Once I deleted one of the viruses it went away.

I wanted to test the idea as a prototype without investing in our full services . So I think rpprototype presents best services that its company use latest technology that provides latest techniques which we can use that easily change any design.

What's your company do? Also those annoying rollover ads are back. They are always for some car dealership in NC.

When I try to close out the large pop-up ads (most recently was the Rio 2 ad), the ad itself disappears. The entire screen remains as a hyperlink to the ad though.

I was using a slightly old version of Firefox (27.0.1) and have just updated to 28.0.0 so I will post again next time I get the ad.
Also will try to get a screenshot.

Dont know if this threads still used but. Im geting amoid. With the ads that cover the whole page . Evry now and than. Not cheaked pn my pc. But im using my ipad. And so far its on this that it happens. It may just be me but it is geting realy anoing. If this is just an inocent ad its fine. I will bare with it.


Also since when did this site relly on ads so heavily

All the ads are at the top and bottom of my page.

What i meen is the popup adds . That used to just ocashonaly cover the page. Thair apreing almost evry time i move to anuther topic

And I think SC has more ads now due to the lack of activity from multiple users.

I think it might more of a funding ishue. Than advertising the site. It culd both but i think the former is more likely
