I never got the Beatles, or why they're so good. Them and Michael Jackson. Oh and Elvis.

In honesty, I'm not a big fan of them. They're music is good but I never have really liked it. The reason they're considered the kings of rock (not Elvis) is because they brought music to a whole different style. Back then, music focused a lot on more folksy type tunes whereas thr Beatles introduced the style of rock

I think it's just simply because all three of them changed music. Like Menace said, the Beatles brought forward the times where Rock would dominate the music scene.
Michael Jackson did the same with Pop, he's influenced A LOT of modern day Pop artists. Exactly what the Beatles did, but with Rock artists.
I haven't mentioned Elvis because it annoys me when people prefer him over the Beatles. XD He's still a good music artist, though, and did the same as the above two mentioned.

My favourite band of all time would have to be Fall Out Boy but I'm slipping over the edge with them at the moment as I've been listening to the all american rejects regularly so I'll take it from there...

Fall Out Boy isn't bad. AAR are ok, I've never been a big fan of them. A Band I'm actually starting to get into is Yellowcard. not bad at all

this is a hard decision to make but im kind of swaying towards Lamb of God, i never get bored of listening to them and love every track on all 5 albums plus they are amazing live, nothing like a wall of death consisting of a good couple of thousand people 
theres so many other bands though like Metallica or Rage Agaisnt the Machine, I still love Linkin Parks early stuff from Hybrid Theory and Meteora aswell which is what mainly started me off on the epic journey of rocking out

Every time I listen to Linkin Park I just seem to like them less each time, it's weird.
I used to absolutely love them, they were one of the first rock/metal I listened to.. but now I find them kinda boring. :/

Disturbed are a pretty good band, imo.. I don't think I could listen to them all the time, though.. But when I'm in the mood for the I enjoy them immensely. <3
