The Deal With the Game Corner

This really irks me. In the Japanese games, they had slots and a ~normal~ Game Corner as always. Now we have the Coin Flip game.
This is supposed to be a casino, not some hangout for old English blokes! What the hell happened in the game dub?!


This is what we could've had!! And in my opinion, the Johto Game Corner had the best music any Game Corner's ever had! We've been screwed over majorly!!

Wait.. We don't have a proper Game Corner? What the hell.. D: Not that it matters that much but I just don't understand why.. :/

Also, I didn't realise old English men sat around and flipped coins all day.. XD

and to top it all off the game is ABSOLUTELY f'n retarted.
The most I won was 6 coins. And you need a few thousand to get anything worthwhile :(

It is pretty retarded. I'm not sayin' I don't like the game we have but a full casino would've been better. And they way the desigend the game corners is just sucky at best. It's like you're playin' a game of Battleship or somethin'. You'd think they'd at least make it look like a casino with other people in there but there's just that one dude on the couch. Seriously, the only people who ever give Pokemon a hard time are fundamental Christian groups who say Pokemon is the work of the Devil & nobody ever listens to them so who gives a crap. So, I'd say this is the only area in HG/SS that actually fails.

So your saying the game corners machines have been replaced with crusty old men at game table? Obviously some over-senistive indiviuals involved in game classifcation thinks a fictional cartoon slot machine, in a Nintendo game, is going to incite an adult, who realises the value of actual money, to gamble recklessly shouting 'Give me my Dratini!'

If someone did do that- they deserve to lose their cash.

At this rate. Don't be surprised if the Australian version of the Game corner is an empty room with a single, dirty chair in the corner.

The Australian version uses the same language, so isn't it just imported from Britain or somewhere?

Either way, I'm really p�ssed at this. I'm going to learn whatever writing system the Japanese games use as their text, and boycott the American versions!

I believe so. But with Australia's track record for classifying games, namely Left for Dead 2. Anything can happen- And they can simply reject the game from entering Australia or demand for it to be heavily modified

I entered the "game corner" and I thought "wtf? Did i enter the right building?" and I can't even get past level 3 of the game, I only have 500 coins, which doesn't buy me crap D:<

Nintendo USA has been fine with the regular game corner layout until now, which sucks big time.

Expect to see that same Pedophile around for some time... :(
