Recently, I just got bored of sniping with the Intervention and decided to shank and oddly, I was pwning with first bloods and winning killcams. Anyone on here ever tried shanking players online instead of firing bullets at them?

Before I prestiged I would always do that.
Marathon + Cold-blooded + Commando (all pro) = an awesome class.
Screw Lightweight, that doesn't help if the other players know your flanking around them to get them from behind lol.
Lately, my commando doesn't seem to have the distance of other players, it really began to annoy the crap out of me.

Alex; I've used Akimbo USPs in the past, but never tried to knife with them. Any reason why you suggest it?

I once got a 4 killstreak in about 5 or 10 seconds on a Search And Destroy using only a knife.

Oh something to do with how I usually go & stay at the place whenever my mates there & I don't pay rent or anything & I'm usually there for a week or so XD I help out around the house, cooking etc so they just have to deal.
So was SS64 right about the USPs turning into knives? Seems a bit stupid. Does it only work online or would it work in offline multi as well?

No, they don't it gives you a bit more of a range for a knife with USP's Akimbo, it lunges a lot further. It always does the lunge animation, even when an enemy isn't in front of you.

Well I just tried the akimbo USPs in offline multi - & the melee action is pretty quick.
Funny thing is; The guy knifes with his left hand; the USP in his right hand.... has a knife sticking out of its barrell & the action looks like the guy swings the knife into the barrell on the knifing action, and on the return swing he takes the knife out again XD It looks weird as lol
