Assassin's Creed: The Pieces

"The Spaniard must not get the other pieces."

Those were the last words Ezio Auditore da Firenze said before he left for Rome. He said that three of the legendary Pieces of Eden were in Italy, and that after a vision the Staff and Apple caused, Rodrigo Borgia, or as he was now known, Pope Alexander VI, knew of these as well.

Ezio did not state what they were, simply mentioning notes on the matter buried in what remained of his room, and the urgency to get them before Borgia and his men did. As he so put it,
"My mission will be for nothing if Rodrigo Borgia finds the three that are missing."

Underarmed, with no home, no base, and few brothers, we, the new order of assassin's, will find the Pieces of Eden before the Spaniard does and lock them away where no one will ever find them again. The fate of the world hangs in the balance, and we're just the people who can stop it. At the dawn of the century, 1502, we the new order of assassin's will wipe out the templars once and for all. We will take back the pieces.

Name: Devin de' Pazzi

Weapons: Hidden Blade, Stiletto, Mace, Throwing Knives
Tactics/Skills: Devin does most of the high-profile work on missions, often doing things like creating distractions, taking out guards, and clearing escape routes. Devin also does most of the planning for the missions.
Appearance: A slightly bulkier assassin robe, it combines layers of clothing to provide enough protection to keep an arrow from killing and stop minor blows, without hampering movement, but slowing him a little bit. The cloth around his wrist is black, and he wears gloves of the same color to help hide movements of his hands. His hood, unlike a normal hood, has no point to it and is rounded at the top, which helps keep his vision clear with the hood pulled further down on his face. Unlike Ezio's robes, Devin's doesn't have a cape, deciding that he had nothing to hide, and nothing to show. His robes themselves are colored white with a brown hood. His eyes are a sharp hazel, and his hair is blonde. He has a small bit of hair on his chin, but other than that doesn't have much facial hair. His skin is actually a bit pale, as prior to meeting Ezio, he spent a lot of his time, training or not, indoors.
Personality: Devin is surprisingly upbeat and friendly, often taking light of situations considered by most to be dire. This is mostly a sort of way of him coping with the destruction of his family, and then his discovery of his evil. He is incredibly loyal to Ezio, and willing to do anything for the Assassin's.
History: Devin is the only surviving member of the Pazzi, which was originally thought to be destroyed after Ezio's assault on the family. His family was wiped out with Jacapo de' Pazzi's death in 1480, mere months after Devin was born. He was trained very well in assassination techniques and general combat, as he originally sought revenge against Ezio for killing his family.
In 1499, Devin entered Ezio's home in Monteriggioni, ready to kill the man who destroyed his family, only to find Ezio absent, as he was in Rome battling Rodrigo Borgia over the Staff and Apple. While Ezio was away, Devin went into Ezio's room in wait, only to find documentation of the treachery his family as caused. Ashamed, Devin finally confronted Ezio when he returned, apologizing for all the trouble his family caused and for his foolishness and wished to make amens by assisting Ezio as a member of the new order. Impressed by Devin's courage and valor, Ezio made Devin one of the leaders of the new assassin order, one rank below Ezio.
In his time at Ezio's villa, Devin was questioned as a member of the Pazzi, but soon accepted. In time, he even came to have a strong companion in the order named Banzo. They went on a number of missions together and learned to trust each other, both being the leaders of the new assassin order Ezio let them lead.
After the attack on the villa, 4 years later, Ezio left Monteriggioni for Rome to help rebuild the order and wipe out Templar influence there. Devin was the one told by Ezio of Rodrigo Borgia's plans soon after the destruction of Monteriggioni, and told to establish the new order in Italy and secure the pieces of Eden.

Name: Banzo de Mazi (Booonnnzoooo de Maci)

Age: 23

Sex: Male

Height: 5'9

Weight: 125 lbs

Weapons: Banzo wields a deadly combination of blades, two hidden blades, he wields them with great flow in his strikes, as well as much skill in the art of defense, being able to take out highly armored opponents with his skill, alongside his hidden blades he has great fist fighting skills which helps him in his skills with the blades even more. Banzo's second weapon is a Crossbow, firing Iron Darts dipped with deadly poison, Banzo carries this crossbow on his back, latching on with slivers of leather durable enough to hold it, alongside with darts in varies of pouches alongside his belt. Banzo's third and final 'weapon' are smoke bombs, he carries them in a small pouch on his belt, being able to hold up to five of these.

Tactics/Skills: Banzo, like his ancestors and fellow assassin's he has many skills and tactics avaliable at his use, his best skills are being able to blend into the crowd and hand to hand combat, which is why he always infiltrates, his comrade assassin's supporting him in various ways as he makes his way through the crowd to assassinate his target, and once the deed is done, he disappears without anybody knowing he was there... He is very intelligent and puts great input into the making of Devin's plans. He also has a keen intuition in battle and out of it.

This traditional assassin armor except dyed light brown, with a plain black cape on his left shoulder which is longer than the average cape, going down to his knees.

Personality: Banzo's personality is a kind-hearted and inspiring individual, as he is very intelligent he uses it to his advantage as well, being able to manipulate people and quite quickly gaining their trust. He has a never give up attitude. Banzo treats woman politely and is always a gentleman to them. He is accompanied to this by his good looks, which makes him attractive to woman. But he never considers them as items to be used and extorted for sex. He is very dedicated to the assassin order, Ezio, and his most well-known assassin ally, Devin.

History: In 1476, the Mazi family was a lower class family, not as above ranked as the Medici, Pazzi, nor Auditore. Even though their bank was quite poor, they were most known for their amazing fighting skills in battle. Banzo was born in 1480, shortly after the death of Jacopo Pazzi, ending the Pazzi conspirators, he was born and raised in Florence, training under his father and with his mother's kindness and love inspiring him to never give up, and to always keep fighting on. In 1494, Lorenzo Medici died, thus spiraling Florence's economy and power to an end, which led to a new rise of a power, a corrupt rise of power, Girolamo Savonarola who acquired the Apple of Eden in 1488 during the Battle of Forli has used its power to begin his corrupted rise to power...

Banzo was very close to both his parents, and in 1497, at the age of seventeen years old, his mother was raped and brutually murdered by the corrupt guards of Girolamo Savonarola, who did not care about the lower class. Banzo's father was enraged by this, and trained Banzo harder than ever during 1497, telling him that if anything ever happened, if he died, Banzo would be the last of the Mazi. In 1498, during the Bonfire of Vanities, Banzo's father started a riot and was quickly executed in front of many of now fully corrupted Florence, showing that if any resistance was to ever show it's face in Florence, the perpetrators would be shown the same treatment as Banzo's father.

Ezio, who had just now arrived in Florence to retrieve the apple from Girolamo Savonarola, missed his chance to assassinate Girolama and retrieve the apple from him, and noticed Banzo's despair of his father being executed, which reminded him much of his own family being executed back in 1476 by Utergo Alberti's betrayal. After Ezio dispatched nine of Savonarola's lieutenants to draw him out, the people rebelled against him, and in an attempt to use the apple to control the people of Florence Ezio threw a knife at the apple, knocking it out of his hands. Then and there, Banzo and others took Savonarola and brought him to a stake, where they tied him there and lit his clothes on fire, he was going to be executed. Ezio decided that nobody deserved to live in such pain, and went up to the stake and stabbed his hidden Blade through Savonarola's throat, ending his pain and misery. After that, Ezio gives a speech about following your own path and making your own way which inspires Banzo to become an assassin.

Banzo, realizing that he has nothing left in Florence now travels to Montergonni where he meets Ezio, who sees much of himself in Banzo. Banzo also meets Devin, and Ezio begins to train both of them in the way of the assassin and teaches them both about the creed after he returns from 'assassinating' Rodrigo Borgia. When Cesare Borgio attacks Montergonni their training is interrupted. After Mario is killed as an 'invitation' from the assassin's to the templars, and Ezio is shot and almost killed. Banzo and Devin took Ezio into hiding and left Montergonni, once Ezio was healed he once again continued training Banzo and Devin. For two years he trained them, and in 1501 other assassin's joined the order under the tutelage of Ezio, Banzo and Devin were promoted to ranks just under Ezio, and in 1503 Ezio left for Roma with other assassin's, leaving Banzo and Devin to lead their own groups of assassin's, and to recover three Pieces of Eden from falling into templar hands, thus began their quest...

Sorry I took so long. I had one bio almost ready then I discovered it was very very similar to Intoxication's character so I had to change a lot.


Name: Marco de�?? Strozzi

Age: 22

Sex: Male

Weapons: Marco, like all assassins, is equipped with a hidden blade and a dagger. Marco�??s muscular frame deters his abilities with the dagger, a weapon designed for stealth not power so he utilizes his bare hands and the hidden blade more frequently. To counteract his lack of skill with the dagger Marco is great with a one handed sword as the sword provides the proper leverage for him to utilize his strengths. Marco is also equipped with a hidden gun that he uses for both long range and close combat fighting. He has integrated the pistol well into his melee combat. Unfortunately the pistol can only hold 6 rounds at a time.

Tactics/Skills: Marco plays mostly the support and muscle roles as an Assassin. His most honed skills are melee combat and the use of his throwing knives, though he has the ability to use a variety of weapons that he may find during the midst of battle. He aids Devin in the distractions and elimination of guards on large scale operations.

Appearance: Marco has tanned skin and dark black hair that is cut fairly short. His face is clean shaven but a scar cuts up from his chin to his mouth from when he was a child. He is broad shouldered and fairly muscular but he does not allow his size to hinder his stealth abilities. His assassin robes are fashioned after Ezio�??s but are brown in color with azure accents. When donning the assassin robes Marco wears an azure cowl to hide the scar he received as a child. When not in his robes he wears common noble attire often in reds oranges and golds.

Personality: Marco is a charismatic man who loves a sense of humor. In a way he is still slightly immature as Ezio was when he first donned the assassin�??s robes. Marco is a womanizer of sorts and he treats the women he meets as objects of desire and sees seduction as an art. There are however some women whom Marco respects, strong and confident women that will not accept his games. At times Marco makes the mistake of allowing his emotions to control him rather than his reason. He bears a hatred for the Medici and the Templars. In a way Marco sees assassination the same way he sees his conquest of women, as an art, but he offers assassination a great deal more of respect. He cares a great deal about his comrades and understands that in order to achieve their goal they must be a family, a brotherhood in more than just name. Marco trusts whole heartedly in Ezio, Devin, and Banzo.

History: By the 14th century the Strozzi family was well established in Florence. Until it was exiled in 1434 by the Medici family it was the most influential and most wealthy family in Florence. Politics and money is what initially lead the Strozzi into conflict with the Medici. After it was exiled the Strozzi established itself in Siena where it regained its notoriety and power.

Years after in reconciliation with the Medici the Strozzi proposed a marriage between Marco�??s elder sister and a Medici. On one particular occasion Marco accompanied his father Fillipo Strozzi to meet with Lorenzo de�?? Medici as well as Ezio Auditore. Fillipo did not hide who Ezio was from Marco and instead was openly honest. At that time Fillipo was providing some financial backing to Ezio. Marco�??s father could not openly support the Assassins but he was against the Templars and what they were trying to do. When Fillipo described the situation between the Assassins and Templars Marco became enraptured and by 1501 Marco had left Siena and ventured to Monteriggioni to learn from Ezio and stop the Templars.

Looks good, accepted. I'm going to leave things open for another day or two to see if we can get another couple people, and if not, we'll just start with us three.

Name: Han Tsjarano
Age: 25
Sex: Male
Height: 6' 5" (Tall dude amirite?)

Weapons: Hidden Blade, crossbow, twenty poison arrows, dagger
Tactics/Skills: Han uses his sneakiness to sneak around guards, usually slitting their throats with his hidden blade, and he uses his crossbow to snipe enemies.
Appearance: He wears very heavy robes to protect him from arrows. Layered about ten times with thick fabric, there is no way any arrow could penetrate his robes, much less his body.
Personality: He is a very silent man, never speaking until spoken to. He doesn't like working with others, though.
History: Han was born in a peaceful farm town. Working on the farm when he was able to, he made himself strong by picking up large hay bales at first. He would work on making his own mark on the world. He always was a good kid, but one day his parents went missing. They left behind a blade that could be hidden easily, a crossbow with poison-tipped arrows, and a dagger. Han went out to find his parents, killing the man who had taken them. But when he actually found his parents, they were dead.

That day, Han made a vow to kill anyone that even looked like a threat to him. Not too long later, in the year of 1501, he joined the order of assassins. (Haven't played Assassin's Creed, so I'm just going to go from there.) He went on his first mission which was to go to the town of Florence and kill the leader of Florence. He went to the town, quickly heading to a spot where he could easily snipe the leader with his crossbow. He fired, ending up hitting the leader right in the heart during a speech.

He relaxed after a few days. He returned back home, waiting for his next mission. Han was in his home, when suddenly he was attacked from behind. He quickly drew his hidden blade, slicing at the person. He missed, luckily for his older sister.

Well, Superboy. First of all, your weapons are fine, Tactics/Skills, from what it looks like you are basically a sneaky sniper. Appearance wise, care to elaborate more on what your character LOOKS like than what his clothes do, that is the whole reason there is an appearance section in bios. Personality, elaborate more, if he doesn't like working with others try to show why, because he feels like he can do most of the dirty work on his own? Or because he just doesn't like others, if that's the reason it'll most likely be a hard relationship between him and the other assassin's, considering we have to form a brotherhood creed to achieve our goals. Your history is absolutely denied :P It doesn't make any sense since you shouldn't have any ties to the assassin order until 1501, so that part of your family leaving behind assassin equipment doesn't fit. That whole history needs to be redone, I would recommend visiting http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Assassin27s_Creed_Wiki and reading up on the plot of Assassin's Creed I and II because if you have never played the games this will be a very problematic RP for you to participate in, Loony and I can give you direction as you proceed in the RP but we cannot elaborate on the whole story of the assassins that has been ranging over a time span of over ten centuries :P

Tactics/Skills: Normally scouts ahead of the group. But when needed can go into the heat of battle.
Appearance: Traditional robes, modified to hold an axe instead of the sword, with a dark blue stripe running down the right side from head to toe, and the hood has been modified to allow better vision when pulled down, has short dark hair and a short beard (sort of like a few days growth), and deep blue eyes, with a scar running down his right arm, from the elbow to near the wrist.
Personality: Enjoys the company of close friends, and loves being around people he trusts, however when needed feels nothing, and is capable of carrying out any task given to him.
History: Frederico, is from a line of Scottish decent, having moved to Italy, when he was young as a pilgrimage, due to his family's conversion to Catholicism, however, he refused to listen to them once the arrived, and stayed with his Uncle who already lived there, and was not Catholic. After several years, the templars for reasons still unknown invaded their home and killed his uncle, after seeing such an act, he killed one of the templars there and then fled, being chased be another, who he attempted to fight off, getting the scar on his arm, caused by the sword cutting his arm. After fleeing for a while longer, he at last managed to get to a safe place, where he bandaged his own arm. And began training, and doing odd jobs, to get in shape and prepare to kill every single templar he could find, all the while trying to get more information on the reason his uncle was killed. After many years of research and training, he met Ezio in 1501, and after pleading his case, and after helping dispatch a large group of templars, was allowed into the brotherhood.

Weapons: Like all other member's of the order Leo possesses a hidden blade and a dagger, he has possession of a syrian blade his father had given him, he has 5 throwing knive's around his belt but rarely feel's the need to use them.

Tactics/Skills:Very good at blending, know's people on the street's which means he can gain temporary allie's very easily.

Personality:A poor boy who has trouble opening up, he was always seen as the ring leader of his friends and was very popular with the merchant's in his district, over confident and brash.
Like's to be known as an important man, prefer's to fight rather than talk out problems.

History: When Leo was born his mother died during his birth, leaving his father and brother to look after him, at the age of 16 Leo accidently caused the death od his 20 year old brother Ze'an whom was pushed off a cliff by Leo in an argument.
His father was a member of the order and headed out as a secret ally of Ezio Auditore da' Firenze but was found dead during Ezio's assualt on the vatican.
Leo saw the order as a form of escapism and his only hope of regaining revenge.
Leo has blue eyes, neck length brown hair, a scar on his cheek from a fight with a member of the pazi.
His mother was suffering from depression when she conceived him, leaving his father in doubt throughout Leo's childhood.

g33k, I'm waiting for Intox to get on to give the final verdict on your bio.

snakespec, your bio lacks an appearance section, and I'd like to see more detail in the history. Give us a little more backstory about yourself, explain your connection to the order a bit better, and go into detail with how he caused the death of his brother.

G33k, you're accepted.

((snakespec: Your appearance isn't detailed enough. Talk about your robes and how they look. Also, the appearance is its own section, not to be buried in the History. I also still want some more details in the bio. Where were you guys that there was a cliff? What were you arguing about? How does Leo feel about killing his brother? Sculpt your character carefully, and give him a deep backstory. That's the most fun character to play.

superboy: Edit your bio and we'll let you in if it works.

Sorry that Intox and I are being so picky, but the characters are half of the RP, and if the bios aren't up to snuff, it screws up the whole RP.

With that, let the RP begin!))

Devin yanked on the reins of his horse, bringing his horse to a stop.
"Florence." He said with a grin.
He looked out on Ezio's home city in awe. It was truly a marvel of architecture, but it wasn't time to sightsee. Devin pulled some parchments out of his side pouch and examined them closely. They were written in a language he'd never even heard of before, and not even Ezio had been able to decipher them completely. Paired with Ezio's cryptic last words to him, they could reveal vital information.
"The Spaniard must not get the other pieces."
The words still rang through Devin's head clearly, as if Ezio was standing right beside him. He had no idea what it meant, but someone inside Florence did. An elder in charge of the largest library in Florence would surely be able to read this parchment and tell them what they needed to know. Getting to the elder, however, was a problem in and of itself.
Devin squinted his eyes, looking out to the gates of the city. At least a dozen templars stood guard at the enormous gates to the city, and Devin guessed at least a dozen more stood just inside of the gates. They were wide open, but they may as well have been closed and engulfed in flames for how well they were defended.
In the last couple years, Rodrigo Borgia, The Spaniard, had made sure to take control of the major cities in Italy. He knew something was important in them, and unfortunately, he was still two steps ahead of the new assassin order.
Devin shook his head and scanned the entrance, seeking a way in. A few minutes passed, and he finally nodded. He turned his head back and whispered, "Move up." to the assassin's positioned behind him.

Banzo checked both of his hidden blade's sharpness before he quickly moved in front of Devin, he looked around the gates for entry points.

"Florence... My home, I know this city inside and out." Banzo said, looking upon the city, it was still beautiful, untouched, but in his eyes as impure as the templar order themselves.

"The front gates aren't the only way to get in." He said, pointing towards the southern entrance.

Fred, remaining quiet, checks his battle axe, and makes sure his axes are securely attached to his belt.

He then pulls his hood down and mumbles, "Onward we go I suppose."

A smile crossed Marco�??s face as he approached Devin. The weight of the sword at his hip and the knowledge that he had a pistol at the ready was quite the comfort to him. He had been to Florence a number of times but not since it had been painted so heavily with the color of the Templars. He readjusted his cowl and double checked that he had loaded his gun. �??This isn�??t going to be easy,�?� he said it as he stared at the mismatch in numbers, �??but it may be fun.�?�

Devin smiled, more confident with his three brothers at his back. "The southern entrance is just as guarded Banzo. We may as well save ourselves some time and charge on through. I count at least a dozen templars out front. Marco and I will run interference on this one."
He looked at Marco. "You've got the most important role in this one. You've go to charge with your horse straight through the templars into the city." He paused to point through the gates, "You see that perch? That will be right within your reach with the extra height of the horse. Get up there and use your pistole to provide us with covering fire.
"I'm next. I'll charge in through whatever hole Marco's charge made and keep the templars busy. While I'm doing that, Fred, you and Banzo leave your horses at the left side of the gate and sneak in. Once we're all in, Banzo, we'll use on of your smoke bombs to escape. This isn't a battle we want to try and fight head on. All we need to do is get to the library, so the only deaths on this mission should be from absolute necessity. Everyone got it?"

"You are such a buzz-kill, Dev. We are called Assassin's for a reason." He laughed as he said it, in part because he wanted to lighten the mood but also in part for himself. He knew that they couldn't take any risks. "I understand. I've got your backs." He patted Devin on his back as if to emphasize the point and felt as his hand sunk into the thick amount of fabric covering the man. He reigned his horse in and waited for his cue.

"Okay, I'll be right behind you. Now go." He said to Marco.
He turned to the others "I'll move just as Marco reaches the gate. You two start moving as I hit the first guy. The timing is crucial. If we're not out of there in a minute, reinforcements will arrive and we'll be in real trouble."

((Just a note, I'll be gone tonight and some of tomorrow. I think G33k will be too, just to let you know.))

Fred, grinned and prepared to move. He leaned over to devin and said in a hushed tone. "What do we do when something does go wrong? What is our plan B? When that happens can I start killing everyone?"
He then reigned in his horse and prepared to move. His eyes began to stare at his target not even blinking, not wavering. He grabbed ahold of his axe and made sure all his blades where sharpened.

((Yeah guys I won't be posting much seeing as I am on vacation))

Marco heard the whispers and felt the need to interject before he made his move. "Fred, I am guessing we just don't let anything go wrong." He kicked his horse in the side before he had totally finished speaking and the animal began racing towards the gate. He caught the Templars off guard as he made his entrance and they tried to swiftly get out of his way. One particular Templar hadn't managed to move in time and Marco heard the crushing sound as the weight of the horse came down upon his leg. Marco managed to stand on the horse with just enough time to make the leap for the perch that Devin had pointed out and pulled himself up.

Banzo sighed, wishing there were another way that wasn't so... Direct, he glanced over at Fred, nodding his head.

"Our plan B wouldn't be to kill everybody, my friend, that would most likely in return get us killed, just follow my lead."
