MUWAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!!!
DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF LORD VEGETA!!!!!!!
I done a bit of researching, and it turns out that nobody knows what Defcon is about. So, unless you're best friends with the head developer, it'll remain a mystery.
yeah, I'd assume these so called game modes would be in the same category as GTNW, in that they are unfinished pieces of code. Whether they were left by accident or on purpose I don't know. It was thought that GTNW was left on purpose & an update/map pack would include the final piece of coding to make it playable, but as far as I know, hacking is the only way to play it..
God Die Hard mode would **** me right off -.- Although thre revive thing is a decent idea lol.

Yeah, DEFCON as well as DieHard were probably cut way before launch because they would, as sphynxx said, **** people off so in attempt to balance the game (which worked so well...) they got cut.
Though I would at least like to know what DEFCON is. :/ I'd imagine it would be like King of the Hill, considering it is named with something to do with defense...
