Do You Play?

Talking with a few of my friends, I've found that even the most addicted to HG/SS have lost all will to play it. My question is simple, really. Do you still pick up your game and play it every now and then or do you ignore it since it's a few months old; Since you've most likely beaten it multiple times?

I never did want to play the game, really. I don't play it anymore. Beat it once, so I'm done with the thing.

i got it less than a week ago almost after beating gary aka blue. had a level 100 pidgeot lvl 44 Dragonair and the rest of my pokemon lower so not a great idea

I let a mate borrow it to get him out of the dark ages and into the light.

He's only sticking to Second Gen Pokes :(

I prefer Platinum more.

I haven't played it in quite a while but I'd like to play it some when I have time.

I only just started, so I sure as hell hope I keep playing it.

I haven't played mine in a while because the Sinjoh Ruins spurred me to replay Diamond, and once I had caught Dialga I was pretty much forced to spend the last three weeks of summer vacation doing summer homework. But I'm almost at the Pokémon League now, so once I finish my time at the Battle Zone I'll be picking up a retro device and restarting Crystal.

If I could get HeartGold I would play through the story again.

Well i don't play HG I used it to battle mostly. However just started my SS in anticipation of getting my Import Black and White games. So just felt like playing some Pokemon since I will be off to a new adventure in a few days.

A few, meaning nine.

I started to play my HG but after someone got a hold of it and caught a few Pokemon on it, I lost interest in it.

These remakes (and third versions), while they may be great, do lose steam more quickly than other games in a generation, such as Diamond & Pearl. It's because most people have already played G/S/C so they pretty much know everything there is to know already. But when it's the start of a new generation people will still be discovering stuff. I have over 200 hours on my Diamond from when I was just playing around on it, months of time spent on it. But with Platinum & SoulSilver, I barely got in a couple months on them.

This is why I plan to ignore as much B/W info as possible to I'll still have a few surprises to discover.

Of course I play. And I get deadly serious about it. XD I do think that after beating the Elite Four (and Red, in this case) there's less to do so you do get bored, but that can be solved by starting a new game. Although at the moment I can't be bothered to catch Lugia on my second game (I have SS... but this board has activity on it!), I still pick up other games and play them. I go through phases of playing different Pokémon games.

I don't play it mainly cuz it doesn't work on my r4 but i think that i won't play cuz i want to forget the crystal times:where if your debuff move doesn't affect teh means that you missed the move.
