I was mid 07. Activity was super awesome in forums when I showed up and teams were may more supportive.

I honestly wish I knew. Recent MVP competitions raised activity in GC, and all I heard from a lot of people was bickering. :/

Haha i remember when i was banned for a while, and it was all because of these stats, "perks" if i can say it that way. Being a moderator and all that stuff got me banned for a little while.

Eh it's just 'cause people were making "useless" threads, according to them.

But activity is activity.. And if we have fun in the threads, who cares?

Fair point Lukie - I think the thing that annoyed some people was simply the fact that some of the people making the "fun" MVP topics would never have made topics at any other time.

The reason i left was because of that espeon guy. i mean when he came he just posted and posted and posted and subed useless stuff.

Yeah I can understand that, but it's a competition, people are going to try and win it. I don't really see what's wrong with that unless they start posting absolutely stupid threads constantly.

Ah, 2004 was fun. The forum was finding its footing, we were getting knocked by every other community in the Video Gamer Network circuit, and Spam Fest was all the rage — so much that when it finally closed people were extremely upset about it — so much that the spammer Your Momma is said to have been born from the backlash.

I'm probably one of the few people left who was on SuperCheats prior to the forums actually existing, and I remember Rich adding a note to a question about a message board being started and adding that it would be better than everyone having to wait the night for a submission to be processed. Those were the days....
