Fantastic step forward for America. They'll be the sixth and largest state to fully legalise gay marriage. It's great to see LGBT rights are finally gaining widespread acceptance even in America, which is a fairly conservative nation. Gives me hope for the future of LGBT equality. =]

Just to offset that, any time anyone goes through heterosexual marriage, I'm gonna be like, "You're marrying a straight?" Since apparently we use that type of wording to explain sexuality now.

I saw this coming for a long time, since Eliot Spitzer (yes, that Spitzer) brought it up and everyone was up in arms about it. Good to see Cuomo following through on his word, and the best thing is that everyone likes him, even the Murdoch-owned New York Post.
