Quite interestingly, I have been playing a new version of an old game. I've been playing the Enhanced Edition of the original Baldur's Gate. Once I finish, I plan to import my character from that game into Baldur's Gate II.

True. It does need a few performance updates as it runs at around 11 FPS at average.

BG is Baldur's Gate and Beamdog is the online client that I play the games through. It's similar to Steam in that respect except that Beamdog doesn't have the social features that Steam does (online chat and whatnot). Beamdog instead has a forum not unlike SC.

Cool. Well, it's never too late to join Steam and most of their games seem to be US$19.99, and usually they have big sales, like The Sims 3 went from NZ$15.99 to NZ$8.99.
