I nearly cracked my teeth after I got the results of my last English test. It was quite honestly ridiculous. Apparently I'm only smart enough to get 2 out of 5 answers correct. I want all the grammar junkies in this place to tell me what they think of the results.

2) Either the press secretary or one of his associates is to alert the media as soon as the decision has been reached. Only either the press secretary or the associate alerts the media, not both.
3) Neither law nor order is relevant to this discussion. Same situation as above.
4) Is everybody reading the same chapters in the book? A collective pronoun (such as everyone, everything) is usually treated as singular.
5) Sara Myong, along with two of her staff members, has become very active in the state association. Sara Myong is the only subject in this sentence; her staff members are an afterthought. If the sentence had begun 'Sara Myung and two of her staff members', then it would have been a multi-subject situation and thus have required have.

At what level do you have an English Test such as this? This is the type of stuff I had three years ago when I was still taking English as my second-language. Not trying to show anything, genuinely curious.

I found them pretty easy, it's the kind of thing I think I would've covered around a year ago.
It's basic, but can get tricky. I was second guessing myself a couple of times whilst reading them over, actually. Crossy explained it as thorough and precise as needed, though.

This is actually very interesting really. Maybe why so many people who have practiced English for their whole life are getting these seemingly easy fill-in-the-blanks wrong is because we're so accustomed to Plural before = Are and Singular before = Is. Same with Have and Has.

Well, Glitters and I are still in our first year of college. We're taking English Composition 1 as a required class.
I'm really starting to regret some of the choices I made in high school. I kid you not when I say this: I slept through EVERY English class I've ever had since the 8th grade.
