For those who don't know, Chris (X__x) left a couple days ago. Didn't want to make a topic. Probably doesn't want me making a topic for him. But I feel like it's right you guys know and right for him that he doesn't get a bad reputation for what seems like a resignation on a whim.
Yes, he and Derek didn't get along, but that was only a tipping point. I talked to him, and he told me that he was overall just getting bored with sitting around on a PC, and that he only checked SC when there was a problem that staff couldn't figure out (or a tiebreaker vote in decisions). Disagreeing with Derek (even a simple misunderstanding between the two) simply made him lose his will to stay. No, he won't be returning.
We're all disappointed, and we will all miss you greatly, but we thank you very much for all your years of service.
I do especially, because you've been a role model to me. I've tried to take your morale and motives and make them my own. And your legacy won't end.
