That is my own quote yes. Made it back in 2014 when an old friend became a not friend, and I realised things.

Looking at Latest Posts makes me sad. Time flies. 10 years ago this place was popping off the charts. Nothing will change the memories I made here...I did annoy people, but I didn't know how that was the case...Anyway, I'll be back soon.

You can try annoy us lot but it probably won't work.

I am so done with "friends". ****'s sake. It's like year 6 all over again without all the near-depression and as much emptiness. Worst part is that he's the son of our family friends, which we've known for years. I don't honestly want to see him but I don't want my parents to stop seeing their friends.

Also my mum thinks it's a "you just open your eyes & realise who they truly are" situation so I guess we see this differently.

Someones our friends aren't actually our friends. We think they are and convince ourselves because it seems like friendship, but there can be little hints/signs that things aren't right.

That said, don't completely throw him away yet. There could be an outside chance of reconciliation. Plus one of you or both could've been in a bad mood or have things going on at the same time. There's been a number of times I've been paranoid/plain stupid and thought my best friendship was dead, but really there was nothing wrong and I was just being an idiot. Maybe one of you had an idiot moment? I don't know. I don't know the story first hand; this is just advice.

Really, one thing I'll say is now that you've supposedly ended the friendship, look at the past and think, was it really a friendship? Did you enjoy the friendship the majority of the time? If you think it was and that you did enjoy it, don't throw it away. The incident I had with an old friend nearly 4 years ago now made me realise that despite me enjoying the friendship, it wasn't real, and I wasn't really his friend.

Incident happened on Friday. Went on today with the intention of reconciling but he proved to be an *** so welp...

Actually it was around maybe 55% of the time? We had a lot in common and worked well together on projects but frankly I had been putting up with his bullshit for far too long.

Seems a bit like why I snapped and ended my friendship. In that case, you have made the right choice. And because that friendship ended, I got closer with my now best friend. So who knows, it may be a good thing overall.

In response to Nikki's post in an old thread, Persona 5 is one of the best games ever!

persona 4 is better though. Nostalgia. Also I seem to have a thing for the Priestess arcana. I mean best girls are Yukiko and Makoto, so yeh.

LAN gaming was cool. but a hassle.
So easy to game online now but also not so easy perhaps to make those close friendships. Or i'm just old.

How is everyone doing? Is the whole world having a heat wave at the moment? I'm slowly turning into a puddle of sweat at the moment. Its been super hot here for about 4 weeks and this week is the worst but then again it's not as hot as a few other places seem to have it. We are just not prepared for it.

Haha, here down under it's actually been one of the colder/wetter Winters I can remember. And now that school doesn't exist in my life anymore, I don't have to leave the house when it's horrific in Summer ^_^

I am going meh recently. Some ups (some very big ups) and some downs, but overall not bad. New semester of Uni starts on Tuesday so I'm enjoying my time of freedom while I can, even though it's not like there's a lot of class time (10 contact hours per week). Friday afternoons are going to be horrible (at 12:30 after an hour break I have a 1 hour lecture, followed immediately by a 3 hour seminar (lecture).

Yep it's cold here. Gives the snowflakes more to complain about

Hi Matt, Hope you are enjoying the time off mostly. shame its almost over. I usually like warm weather, but I'm just hoping for some rain and cold right now.

Although maybe not tonight.. there is going to be a lunar eclipse tonight. Blood moon. Not sure if its visible to you lot or everyone in general but we should see it later. Hope you get to see it if it is visible for you.
