Basically they turned bending into a sport, whoever can push who into the water first. Except I feel no one can bend as long as anyone else could in the first series D:

Yeah, they are basically in an arena, and there is a center platform that somewhat resembles a basketball court. There are three different sections on each side, and on the left and right sides of the ring there is a sort of net fence. This platform is surrounded by water, sort of like a moat, and the crowd sits in the stands behind the moat. There are two basic ways to win, you can knock someone out of the ring which is basically just knocking them hard enough that they fly into the water, or you can get them back to the final section and knock them into the water. There are usually 3 rounds but there can be up to 5. I hope that explained it fairly well.

Been here since February 2004. It's May 2022 as of writing this. Wish Rich would revive this place. Guess I'm only here for the nostalgia now.
The ending to the episode was totally predictable in my opinion. Like as soon as Korra's bending was taken away I was like "Cue Aang at the end to give it back." But I still liked it. Creepy blood bending though.

It was very predictable. I really liked the Finale, but there is still another Season to go. I feel they may have rushed the storyline just a little.

A little? She got the guy, can take/give bending, and can bend all four elements. Korra's accomplished more in one season than Aang did in his entire story.xD
Technically, there should be Four Seasons, if they follow all for elements. I was kinda irked they released her bending like that, but oh well. I'm curious if she'll learn metal bending though.
But it's not like they can follow the same exact path, Avatar>Learn elements bit by bit, so I'll be hoping they can pull off some good writing, as they've brought this challenge and expectations upon themselves.
I hope they do something better with the Second Book, but seeing as there are only two books and the First one is already done, i'm thinking it will probably be decent.
