Golden River Crusade: "What Goes On In The Dark"

Garm observed the rest of the group with an experienced gaze, taking in each facial expression and making note of it, though not setting too much stock by them, as another thing he could use to help figure out what makes each and every one of his coworkers tick.

Step one in helping them live long enough to be half-decent at doing the job right: keeping them alive long enough to teach them the basics.

After a long drawn out silence, Dr. Chelsea decides to conclude the conversation and change the subject. "The man will be fine" she says. "Those medical professionals that picked him up work for us. They'll replace his arm with an aesthetic arm and get him back on his feet in no time. Don't let it happen again."

Just then, a phone rings in her pocket. Without losing eye contact, she takes her phone out and places it up to her ear. "Dr. Rivers" she answers. A voice is heard over the phone:

We've apprehended her. You're needed at the base immediately.

"Be there in ten" she said, hanging up the phone. "I'm needed back at the base. You're dismissed for the day. Try not to make a mess of things from now on boys."

The hologram projection of Dr. Chelsea Rivers fades into the air, leaving the boys alone. To break the silence, Xavier ask, "Sooooo, who's hungry?"

So what's the story and can I join?

No managing the route of the tale. That benefit connected to me and only me. If I am not on to proceed the tale, then either develop on where the tale is in those days or just delay. Sometimes I usually take a lengthy keep in the center of a tale because of factors that occur outside of my lifestyle. If that happens, please be individual and RP with.

unfortunately for Riku, he was unable to make something to transport him to the crime scene in time. As he never really had a chance to have anything more than an old bike his skills at making any type of transportation weren't too good. So it took him a little while longer and he ended up missing it, which he figured completely killed his chances of getting in, but when he did manage to get himself a flying skateboard he headed for the meet up point. He arrived rather clumsily to hear Dr. Rivers say that they were dismissed and ended up crash landing a little after Xavier asked if anyone was hungry. However he practically shot up from the ground at the mention of food.

"Sorry I late. Couldn't make flying machine..."

Riku trails off and gets shy noticing the large crowd before him and mutters something about food before sitting back down and staring at his feet in a rather awkward depressed silence.

The squad calls it a day and heads back to their apartment, where they all headed to their room and fell asleep for the day. That night, Terry had a nightmare of the little girl getting accidentally injured. Only this time, reality is altered for she actually dies ....

The next morning, Xavier is seen sitting in the living room of his squad's apartment. He has a cup of coffee on the table, currently untouched, and is wearing a white tank-top with underpants. He sits rubbing his head and staring into the floor, continuing to beat himself up for allowing the little girl to get hurt. He whispers to himself quietly ...

"If only I were stronger .."
