So I've got this little band called Malevolence going. It's kind of a combination of progressive rock/metal, jazz, and blues; or rather, each song has a specific sound: for example, one's got a solid metal sound, another's got a thrash sound, one's an acoustic song I wrote to be introspective, and one's just a whole bunch of tritones and chromatically descending bass notes with a bossa nova feel. It's beautiful. And by beautiful, I mean intentionally ear-splittingly ugly.
