People that make submissions on the main site - Please read..

OK, this is for people like nintendo_dude... Please try to use proper capitalization in your submissions. I.e. First letter of each sentence, and after a ':' - It takes us a long time to edit submissions for these errors.

Posting on the forums don't have to be like that, but for submissions on the main site, we like them to be as good looking as possible.

Hey Rich! I always try my best to get my submissions in working order and understandable. I'm not a very good speller when it comes to long words though.

havent seen you in ages dingo.soz about that rich.as you know i submit about 5 daily.more a lot of the time and my computer isnt very fast(finally i'm getting broadband soon)and some of my submissions are long.so i make it a bit quicker by just typing it out.i'll start capitalising from now on.

Does it really matter that much? I hardly ever use capitals on forums like this...

The submissions have to look professional. If your text displays poor parataxis, some people may not so much as glance further at it. You want it to look good so that you can actually help the people that you want to help.

Exactly we really try to make the submissions section look as good as we can, so we are often adding capitals here and there, spacing out submission better etc... It saves us a hell of a lot of time if things look good to start with.

Our gratitude goes out to submitters like Cross Stinger and Dingo, who if memory serves me right, always make their submissions look perfect for inclusion straight away on Super Cheats.

Try to bear in mind that on some days we get over 300 submissions to go through so it helps a lot if we don't have to edit them.

No, I was creating a test account and was logged in under that name.

There was a bug regarding new members not being able to post - I was just seeing if it was fixed. I deleted the other post and copied and pasted it again under my name.

When i submit something and put "don't, can't, won't, shouldn't..." the apostraphe ( the ') comes up as a slash( a /)....
why?

Probably a coding error. That never happened to me.

i don't think it does that on the site but on the email it does that!

Oh, now I understand. Yes, I get that, but it has no effect on the submission. When the character 'é' is to appear, it sometimes reads 'é'.

oh well as long as it is not just me!

i do always try my best in spelling, sometimes that doesn't come out good.

yeah...

i used to submit out ever using the space bar after sentences and comma's. i don't submit like that anymore but boy i don't think rich liked it so that's why i stopped!
