Wrath of the Gods

In this RP, you can choose to make your character a child of any of the Greek gods. It's set in modern times. Basically, Hades is trying to overthrow Mount Olympus and you have to choose a side. Even if you choose ti be a child of Hades, you can go against him. You can't play as a god.
The gods are situated over the United States now. Mount Olympus is situated in the clouds over New England, and the entrance to the Underworld is on the other side of the country.

The skies over New York were dark grey, almost black. There was no one in Central Park. Suddenly, the air began to smell like ozone. Then there was a flash of lightning and a clap of thunder, and a tall black-haired boy was standing under a tree when he hadn't been anywhere in sight before. Typhon reached his left hand towards the sky. Lightning struck his hand and then Typhon was holding his beloved lightning bolt blade sword, Astrap�, which meant lightning in Greek. Typhon could smell the cyclops he'd been tracking. But he couldn't pin-point where the cyclops was. Suddenly, Typhon was struck from behind and went flying forward. Typhon get to his feet and turned around.
How did I not hear him? Typhon wondered. Typhon thrust out his hand and a gale force wind knocked the cyclops back several hundred yards, breaking many trees.
"Where is my useless brother?" Typhon yelled when he saw the cyclops immediately get to his feet. "This is going to be harder than I thought," Typhon said. Then he charged the cyclops.
