What's the worst experience you've had on this site? It could be anything from something that happened to you to something you've seen.
There's.... a LOT Of porn threads on this site. I'd have to say seeing the deleted furry threads is pretty bad. That Playstation one was the worst...

One of the worst things for me is looking back at how high activity was years ago and imagining what it would be like if the rules were lax back then like they are now. Activity would have been even higher. But that's not really what you're asking.
Nothing really bad has happened to me here. I guess the worst thing was seeing a huge Naruto hentai sig shortly after being made a mod in like 2007 and not knowing what to do lol.

I just had that same thought. I was just looking over that thread in staff where Ryuujin deleted a thread because everyone was disagreeing with him in it. I would have stuck out like a sore thumb as Admin back then.
Everyone was grilling him. Chris kept saying you can't delete a thread unless it violates the rules and the Mod Guidelines say you should. I would have been the only one saying "Who the **** cares?" It was his thread anyway, and it only had 10 posts. Don't make a habit of it, but you can do whatever you want with your own stuff.

Yeah. I miss the days when I was actually involved in the video game threads. Back then, I was fighting for a mod spot.
._. It took longer than I thought it would to restore that thread. I had to restore the topic itself, then each individual post. We really need a better way of doing that. Or at least a way of restoring a topic that isn't a glitch.

Pretty much me coming back to SC and noticing how dead it is. Nothing really bad has happened to me on here. I also got the back end of the strict rule enforcement back then when I was a mod for a bit, but luckily I could ignore all that being in the newbie forum with neptis. That was like the only forum with a bit more relaxed rules.

Just a thought here: Doesn't this type of forum system seem... outdated? Wouldn't an update to how it works help more than a few people trying to post more?

I think the major problem is that we don't really seem like a community. The first forums people are probably going to see are the video game boards, and a good majority of those are dead and have never been alive. The layout might be confusing to new members as well.
I wouldn't hold my breath on any type of major forum upgrade, unless it's a re-arranging, clean-up and merging type deal.

Oh, that thing? That thread should not have been deleted, and the then Guidelines never said to do so for those reasons. That's why Ryuujin's tenure as a mod was very, very short.

See I don't know why it was such a big deal anyways. On sites with self moderation tools in your own thread ((close/delete your own post)) I've killed topics that annoyed the crap out of me like that because it got out of hand. It really shouldn't matter
