Well, I only buy new tech when the old tech breaks or becomes horribly outdated. I tend to use outdated tech for a long time. Hell, I still boot up my old Win 98 from time to time to play some older games. It wasn't until a few months ago that I got a flat screen TV. I had been using something like a 40 inch CRT before then. It weighed half a ton.
I'm slow to embrace new ideas, and even once I do, I still use the old ideas.
