Dude I would sign up with someone else see if you have Charter in your area that is my ISP and for the most part I am happy.

My options are as follows:US Cellular, Dialup, Super Expensive DISH internet(12 GB a month), or Verizon (even slower then US Cellular and still 4 GB a month).

I would move to somewhere else that has decent internet coverage.
Although I suppose that depends on your school/job situation, but either way it's better than being screwed over.
