That's why my activity in General Chat has dropped. I've had no need to post in some threads. KoC, if you view a thread, and you think you won't be able to post with a reasonable reply, don't post. Not posting is easier than posting.

It is kinda hard to keep a coherent topic when you have "lol" "Nope" "Heya" "Damn" "I wish I had good internet" popping up every second post

KoC - Please refrain from posting unless you are going to actually contribute to the discussion. Please also refrain from simply looking around a big post and ignoring it simply because you don't want to AND THEN commenting about you not reading it. If you do't want to read it that is fine. Simply ignore it, but please make your posts on topic from now onward.

Now let us all get back to the discussion, I made a big post yes but you don't need to respond to all of it you can simply pick one part and make any kind of response of it or make a response to someone else's post from before.

nightmare2, Thank your for the response. Unfortunately, I am being bombarded with revision questions and helping my friends out for the upcoming exams. I'll come back to you once I am finished, hopefully you'll be around.

And the only reason I know about this stuff more than some other people is because I am doing a degree in Physics with particle physics and Cosmology, though I am only in first year :P.

Also, the only point I'll make for now is that Dark Energy is very different than Dark Matter and Newton's laws of motion are very limited and don't hold true when working with large masses or speeds 20% the speed of light.

Lol lets try not get into religion here though.

I think surely there are other civilisations on planets, somewhere out there. Likely too far away for us to ever meet them, but if humans just happened to...appear, then why not on other planets with stable environments? Although for anyone religious that theory means nothing, but just my opinion.

In terms of space being infinite, I don't know, but it probably doesn't matter. It's not like we'll reach the end of the universe anytime soon.

That is a messy step to put your foot into Kiwi. Arguing and sh!t can temporarily end friendships.

We don't know if religion is real. But some would say there is good, hard evidence it exists. We don't know if the big bang theory actually happened or not. But some would say there is good, hard evidence to say it happened.

Why are we trying to combine Outer Space with religion anyway? lol

When it comes to religion, to each their own imo. All of us will find out when we die anyway; there will either be Heaven/Hades or nothing at all. Can we leave it that and just enjoy each other and video game cheating while we still can?
