Please don't take offense at this but both sides (the Big Bang starting out of no-where and God being able to do anything) sound weird. If scientists want to prove that the big bang DID happen by itself, they need better proof. I guess the only proof (of just words) for God being real is the Bible. If there was lots of proof (excludes Bible), then maybe I would believe in God.

Matt77 has a point. For atheists, it's easy to say that God doesn't exist because outside of the bible there is no proof. Miracles? They are called Miracles and not Acts of God for a reason. It was a word created by atheists that describes something miraculous happening that doesn't have any scientific reasoning for happening.

If there is no proof explain Noah's ark. The sole surviving family of a apocalyptic flood that just happened to start the second they were ready? Or how about the chariots at the bottom of the Red Sea from Moses parting it? Is that enough for you stubborn people?

I can't even what side you're on.

If you think that's "proof" of God being real, it just doesn't work like that. There is no factual evidence of those events because you can't argue that the Bible is factual.

Jake - I don't understand how a family surviving a flood and a chariot at the bottom of the ocean proves that God is real.

Well those events were in the Bible. How else did an ARMY end up at the bottom of the sea. How else did Noah know to build an ark to survive the flood?

What you're failing to see is those "events" were most likely fabricated or just never happened.

The splitting of the Red Sea was probably just fabricated.

Noah's Ark obviously did not happen. There is no possible way that he would be able to fit one of every animal nor build a ship of that proportion. There is also no scientific evidence of a flood ever happening, because it didn't.

Seashells at the top of mountains and the ark is in Turkey.

Matt: I believe some scientists have claimed that they have found these particles that created the so called Big Bang. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, since I'm not 100% sure.

Jake: Many people will say that those are just coincidence. There is plenty of evidence, it just depends if the person viewing it believes. It's not called the mystery of faith for just no reason at all. God chose his people before we were. ;)

Everyone: Everyday I see a reason that God created everything. I can't look outside and see the beauty of the earth and how everything works in perfect harmony without thinking of God. Like I said, the evidence is there, it just depends if you decided to believe or not. We are all given that freedom of choice.

Anyway, I think we should all get back on subject. Okay?

Last time you started to get back onto topic, it failed miserably. Closing the religious debate for me...So basically you only see evidence that God is real if you believe in him.

About outer space, I think one day humans will live on other planets. It'll probably be in 100 years at the extreme minimum.

Probably, but depending on the level of gravity, the bullet would fire really slowly or way faster.

As for living on another planet, I don't really see that happening. It would take WAY to long and A LOT of money to do so.

Well doesn't America have a ton of money? At Lear we act like we do.

America can print as much money as we would like, but it would cause us to get even more in debt. Countries need to take care of their citizens first above all things, rather trying to find a way to live on another planet.
