Back to the topic: Guns.

Because some of you haven't been around guns in person and have only seen them on tv or in video games I'm going to separate Hollywood guns from real guns.
1. Suppressors aka Silencers do not silence the weapon to the extent as see in the movies. I have personally used a suppressed weapon(m4) and it was still loud enough to be heard from up to 1.5-2 miles maybe ever further. The only suppressed gun that actually gets close to the suppressed gun in the movies would be a .22(very small bullet). Definitely not the guns you see in the movies.
2. Getting shot(even with a shotgun) will not make you fly back. If anything you will fall backwards as if you were tripped.
3. This should be obvious but duel wielding any weapon is an awful idea. Zero accuracy. Plus your right arm will be burnt with the brass.
4. You simply can't shoot a Desert Eagle with one hand(except the new model).
5. Firing in full auto is wasteful and ruins your aim.
6. Using a laser aim while sniping is also a bad idea. It gives away your position.
7. You cannot discharge a firearm simply by dropping it(unless it has an external hammer that is in the firing position but even then it's rare).

yeah number 3. The pull back wieght on the Glock's trigger is only about five pounds right, so couldn't that be considered an exception to this? It would be a lot easier for someone to dual wield the Glock without losing as much accuracy.
Oh and 2. Just curious about the shotgun thing, is being blown apart an option if you get hit by a shotgun when only a few feet away?

When friends would argue with me about their right to bear arms, I would say, "If someone walked into a crowded theater with a knife, they could not have killed all of those people in one fell swoop." I thought this was a brilliant argument, until one too many people answered me with, "No, but a bomb could." This is so true. And a bomb is easy to make. How frightening.

Think of it like this sure walking into a theater with a gun can kill a lot of people. But not as many people if all the people are packing heat. That guy would have been gunned down in seconds if those people had pistols. Same thing goes for robberies.
