Nikki - Yeah, the actual brawl is planned for sometime between Nov 2016 and Jan 2017. I just want a smaller list because 216 is pretty extreme and Warrior's 2016 Brawl has worked well using 2v2 matches.

How many can I vote for? 10 was it?

I'll start with this:

Falco (Star Fox)
Lucas (Mothersomething...or Homebound?) (Smash)
Shaymin (Pokemon)
Vanillite (needs a second chance :P)
Serena (Pokemon 6th gen heroine)

If these are already nominated I apologize. I also apologize for being so Pokemon-heavy.

Freez Falco and Lucas are locked in, but I need to know which two of the bottom three you want to put up for nomination. Remember in the starting post it says you can nominate 10 who are already on the list, or 8 or 9 on the list + 1 or 2 who aren't on.

Everyone who has been in here, check the first post to see how many selections you have left.

Sorry for whatever reason I never saw your post + a few others.

Nikki (responding to your question that I didn't see) - Dan's explanation was good. Simply look at my giant list of 216 in the starting post and pick 10 people you like/know that aren't in blue if you want to nominate. It's just that I want input from the members into who they want, and I want a fair amount of characters nominated.

AS OF NOW, ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE POSTED HERE CAN ADD TO OR MAKE NOMINATIONS FOR THE BRAWL; THE LIST OF 128 WILL BE CREATED ONCE FREEZ & NIKKI MAKE THEIR FULL NOMINATIONS.

It seems my Brawl is well on track to actually happen this time. School holidays start tomorrow and only Nikki & Freez are left to nominate characters, so then I'll be able to pick the rest to make up the 128 and then begin planning well in advance. I calculated that if I spend 5 minutes on each of the 64 R1 matches, it will take just less than 5 & 1/2 hours. Spread over 12/14 of the holiday days, if I spend 30 mins each day I will be done in 2 weeks time! And since I'll probably get lazy and not finish by then, I'll have plenty of time to prepare for the actual event.

A quick rundown on what will happen leading up to and during the brawl:

- The Brawl will run similarly to Warrior13's, however there is an extra round and more matches will be posted daily
- There will be 128 competitors, competing in the same structure as a Grand Slam tennis tournament (see beginning post to learn the structure)
- Members have the option to nominate 4 characters from the list of 128 who they believe will win
- If one of your chosen characters wins, you will be crowned royalty of Nintendo, along with your character
- As long as you vote regularly in the Brawl (doesn't have to be daily), you will be eligible to win
- Unfortunately there will be no prizes available
- If the Brawl runs over Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, those days will have no matches available

Also, there's going to be a bit of a surprise in store...

Thanks Nikki. If you wish to nominate 6 more you can but you'll have to do it by Monday (when Freez is due to get back and see my message).

Thanks so much Freez! Greninja, Crazy Hand, Zelda, Krystal, and Kyogre are all locked in and Shaymin and Vanillite are wildcard entries. Ash has already been nominated so if you wish you have 1 more nomination left. Unfortunately though if you do want to use the 1 you'll have to do it before Nikki (balthiersbit) makes her nominations, cause I want to start making the matches.

Also that reminds me you won't be able to participate in the Nintendo Brawl because you choose to not go on SC during weekends/holidays. Sorry but I can't do it on school weekdays (Year 11 will be getting stressful at that stage).

Usually weekends I have stuff to do and holidays gives me more time to do stuff, and I'm usually out in the holidays too. But I'll try see if I can make it

You won't though. Admit it lol.

But hang on. If holidays gives you MORE TIME to do stuff, how does that give you LESS TIME on SC???

The final list of 128 has now been created. The order they are displayed in means nothing in terms of who versus who eg Breloom & Daisy will NOT be versing in R1. if you see ?????, that is the secret challenger who you will find out about when the time comes...

Also matches 1-6 have been created with no problems (took a few minutes for each only) so things are looking good.

If you wish to choose 4 from the list who you believe can win the Nintendo Brawl 2016/17 you may as of now; I will list who chooses who below the list so you don't choose someone already chosen. Note the character '?????' can be one of your 4 choices.
