... Gah - seems to be a lot of server issues this weekend - Was ok this morning in Europe - until about half of America jumped on the servers when they woke up 
Hopefully Nintendo will be making the necessary steps to beef up their servers asap.

Still a connection nightmare here - I'm going to wait until tomorrow now! Caught about 20 pokemon with my youngest son this morning - Mostly all pidgeys and zolbats though... But got a few decent ones - Nice activity to do with him - taking a stroll round - he's really into it at the moment.

I get that they're trying to make the game available for everyone, but the servers couldn't withstand the use with less countries.... why introduce it to more before fixing the problem. It's honestly getting a bit annoying on how this game had a beta phase, and released 11 days ago publicly, but works about half the time.
How companies operate anymore is just beyond me.

When it first released here in my area, I had issues loading up connecting to servers. I haven't had those issues anymore. So I'd say in some time they will get it straight for your area.

I can get on during the week but the weekend was awful, like you said Rich when america woke up that was it!
I even put the same sort of comment on my facebook. Then again Ive had it since it came out here in Spain and Im only level 2 with 3 Pokemon hahahahaha.

Ive never played. My sis has been there since the 1st game. I just thought Id see what its like, it has plenty of fans. Think the animation has always put me off.

Niantic, a spin-off of Google, developed the game. Although Nintendo's stock price has since skyrocketed as a result.

I think they are adding in so you can battle other people. It will be interesting to see how that turns out. Looks crazy people hunting all over the world for Pokemon, imagine little Pokemon battles all over the world.
