Maybe they'll come back? I'm back for good. I basically sit at my computer doing web development stuff and have quite a load of time on my hands. Even with 4 kids, anything is possible.

I doubt it. Nostalgia aside there isn't a lot to come back to; a few people talking here and there.
I'm not far from your position. I keep 2 jobs in town, though I pack 30 hours at each around the weekends. My weekdays are mostly spent in front of a computer doing web development as well.

I'd like to honestly see new members. They come into the Video game boards daily always posting. But only go under "Forum Guest". Time will tell but anything can happen.

I'm not quite sure, I think even in 2010 it was rolling. A lot of "Forum Guests" post within the video game boards now. Quite a lot of submissions are posted by guests as well.

Maybe we should make everyone register! I think Mark will be working on integration with social media platforms to possibly use those logins so it may be easier.

I was smod in 2011 according to my bio and it was still kicking then.
Never really liked the forum guests, I think all should atleast have to identify themselves in someway.
I've seen some of their posts and some are so random it's unbelievable.

I think it was initially done to gain new members. Maybe they should get a trial period where they can post and when that time is up they get to choose to register or simply use the site to read walkthroughs. Do you think that they should only be able to submit?

I think them submitting questions is fine. I have no idea how'd they go back and find there answer at a later date unless they bookmarked the link.
