You are right about all the others though, they have been bad. I haven't seen the latest X-Men movie but going by the trailer and the clips I have seen it doesn't look too good.

When are Marvel going to wake up and make a Black Widow movie, it would be easy to do, all the ingredients are in place. A Black Widow movie would be a guaranteed success, especially if it was a good James Bond spy story that explores her character. At the moment we don't know a lot about her except that she has a sackful of skeletons in the closet and she is a former Russian spy who defected to the west...or has she?

Marvel movies are announced in waves of nine and still no Black Widow. The thing is if they don't make it soon they will miss the boat on it which will be a shame as it has the potential to be a great spy movie.

Possibly wonder woman will be a door opener for black widow and others. If a female lead block buster super hero movie makes money then more will follow. A black widow origin might work.. but it would have to fit the marvel universe she already inhabits. It might have to be a lower budget than normal though so whether they could keep Scarlett Johansson in the role is another matter.

If Scarlett Johansson who is keen for the film to be made is not in it then Marvel won't be able to call it 'Black Widow', the fans won't stand for it. After DC release Wonder Woman, Marvel release Ms Marvel, (I still think it should have been Black Widow) the problem is nobody knows much about Ms Marvel apart that she is a Kree alien. Mind you if Marvel make Ms Marvel's costume look like it does in the comics they could be onto a winner.

Lol, if Marvel go with the costume in the picture above I'll be an instant fan, she makes Wonder Womans new costume and the Black Widows look dreary and dull.

DC are talking about making a Harley Quinn movie with Margot Robbie reprising her role. Apparently it's also going to feature Batgirl. I wonder how she will look? Hopefully the costume looks like the one below, who would you cast as her?

A Black Widow movie with Scarlett Johansson is still up in the air but the Ms Marvel or should I say Captain Marvel movie as it will be called is under way. Brie Larson is playing the lead role.
