Matt, Matt, Matt... The passes ended up being that long after the receivers gained yards after the catch. I watched the game, and they kept putting up the chart. Seriously, he threw less than five throws over ten yards in the air. lol
The Washington Redskins have picked up Reuben Foster of waivers. That means the Redskins now have 9 Alabama players from their great Crimson Tide championship team. Apparently the Alabama players were asked their opinoin about acquiring him and they all gave their support. That Redskins defense is starting to look ferocious, management just need to sort out the offense.
Warrior - Does it really matter if his passes weren't big air-time passes? As long as the team gains yards, it's a good thing. If it wasn't Mariota's heroics, then the WR corps' success should've kept them competitive. The fact that Tennessee lost that game by 17, after leading 10-0, is the problem.
Dennis - That signing has caused outrage all over social media. He's been arrested 3 times, for domestic violence, marijuana possession, and illegal gun possession, in 3 different cities. His latest incident makes it 4. But I suppose it's a low risk high reward signing; he isn't even allowed to play until the NFL finish their investigation, and he isn't on their proper list yet.
I just did my tips. 10 home teams and 6 away teams this time round. I have only 1 clear upset, and that's the Thursday game, where I see New Orleans's winning streak coming to an end.

The guy sounds like a nightmare, just seen highlights of his games for Alabama and he's definately a nightmare on the field. If the Redskins can sort him out he could be an absolute steal. He's got talent that if he doesn't waste it could see him enshrined in Canton, he reminds me a little of Lawrence Taylor. Freaky strong and vicious, funny enough Lawrence Taylor had his share of problems outside the field as well but he is still loved and adored by NFL fans. A certain Hall of Fame linebacker shot someone in a nightclub a few years ago and because he was the face of the franchise at the time and the NFL's best player it got swept underneath the carpet and conveniently forgotton about.
I'm actually feeling a bit sorry for Barkley and Elliot having to face him twice a year as both are going to get their cages rattled big time when this monster tackles them.
Any money you like Jonathan Allen takes Foster under his wing and sorts him out.
I hope you're right about him. What you point out about so many ex-Alabama players on the same Washington team is a very good sign. I'm a big fan of chemistry between players, and it won't take long for this group to gel. I mean, look at how many injuries they're having, and they're still 6-5 and tied for 1st place in the division. Remember the 16-3 win over Tampa Bay? That kind of performance shows what can happen when a team plays for each other. You're right, if they sort out the offense by drafting a new WR or 2 and preferably a QB, there's no reason why Washington can't be a Superbowl contender within 3 years.
I just saw that Le'Veon Bell vaguely tweeted about how good it would be to play under Andrew Luck. If his history with tweeting is accurate, this says he'll probably be off to Indy in the off-season. Watch for Indy to become a SB contender as early as...well right now. Bell coming in would only make it a certainty. After all, they did make the AFC Championship game in 2014/15. Luck is minimum an above average QB, the running game has picked up, the o-line is one of the better ones (it used to be horrible), and the defense does enough (it also used to be terrible).

My tenth home team might be the Giants... Or it could be a different upset... Maybe you've convinced me to go with the Cowboys... Or Maybe... Just maybe... There is a strange upset in there...
Lol now I'll have to change to New Orleans, and watch them win just in spite of your change ;)
Jk. I'm sticking with it, whether or not you change. That risk is your problem.
...oh ok. I see what you're doing. You actually tipped Tampa Bay over Carolina, because Carolina are 1-4 away from home. Or, perhaps you did a very reckless thing and tipped Detroit over LA Rams...

You're right Dennis. I got killed by you both in week 2... Warrior, you've been in control for so long, but I've figured out a weakness I didn't know you had...

Well done Matt, that was a brave call going for the Cowboys which paid off. I followed the game and again you were exceptionally lucky. It's near the end of the fourth quarter and the Cowboys are about 30 yards away from going up 20-10 and Prescott throws an interception. Everyone then though Brees is going to march down the field and either tie the game up at 13-13 or get the winning Touchdown. Instead two plays later he throws an interception which kills the game 13-10. Late in the third quarter the Cowboys were leading 13-0, the Saints for some reason looked horrible this week. In that form they have no chance against the Rams when they eventually meet.
This is the fifth week on the trot I've lost the Thursday night game. I felt the Saints would blow the Cowboys away or at least win by 10 points.
Don't worry Dennis. Last week you got all 3 Thursday games correct ;)
I watched the highlights. Brees was as Warrior said, right off his game. It's amazing that Dallas won despite Dak having disgraceful stats and Zeke Elliot not dominating. And Dak didn't even throw an INT late,; it was an awful fumble on 3rd down deep in scoring territory. They deserved to lose after that.
But really, it wasn't that brave a tip. People don't realise, but the 13-3 Dallas team has returned. If people saw the matchup as the 2016 Cowboys vs this New Orleans, more people would've gone with the upset like me.
I can't believe both of your tips!!! Dennis, you tipped New Orleans by 10, and Warrior New Orleans by 13!!! Warrior, that was horribly reckless. You've given me an outside chance to stun you. I'm now ahead of you on margin, so I only need to gain 7 and I win

Lol, only seven behind with five games left. That means Warrior13 has to drop at least one game, and 2 for a couple of those games for the rest of the season. Matt, it's an achievement pegging him back one game a week, two is pushing it. I think he's worried though, he's trying to hang onto his lead by constantly going with the favourites. I haven't seen no picks from him in a while that has made me think what can he see I can't.
