Nope. I already knew Tyron Smith would be out. As well as how WR Adams would be out for the Pack. ;)
The two I didn't know about were John Ross being out for Cincinnati moving forward [leaving Dalton to only having Mixon at RB, Boyd at WR, and Eifert at TE (which they already had and they are now 0-4)] and Minshew being day-to-day with some injury for the Jags.
The Bengals still trash the Cardinals regardless of who passed away. Mixon will do the damage, he's now recovered from an ankle injury and is ready to explode.
I'm not so sure about that, Dennis. On paper, with Dalton, Mixon, Green, Ross, Boyd and Eifert, you would think the Bengals would be better. But now that Green and Ross are out and Mixon still looks bang up - not to forget that horrible offensive line that they've never invested in and the terrible defense that gave up almost thirty to a Steelers offense that didn't include Ben, Brown, or Bell - I having a feeling they might be tanking for Tua/Herbert soon.
At this point, Miami is clearly tanking. Well, if they lose to the Redskins next week, it will be obvious. You'd have to imagine that the Broncos and Bengals will soon start tanking as well so they can lock up one of the top QBs in the next draft, since we all know Flacco and Dalton aren't the long term answer.
I though the Denver Broncos drafted Drew Lock, don't tell me they have given up on him already. I hear what you are saying about the Bengals Warrior13, it's just I don't have no confidence at all in the Cardinals. I admit the Bengals looked awful against the Steelers last week but before then they looked half decent, they nearly beat the Seahawks, and kept the 49rs close.
Warrior, Pittsburgh are still a dangerous team. Yes there's no Big Ben, but they still have James Connor as a RB and Juju as a WR. Not to mention Minhak Fitzpatrick being a new addition to complement Devin Bush. And remember, this is the Pittsburgh Dogs we are talking about. They're still dogs until I see half a season of no lucky escapes.
As Dennis pointed out, Denver are grooming Drew Lock behind closed doors. Bizarrely, you aren't the only one who has forgotten that Lock exists. I've read things questioning what the long-term QB plan is, and who Denver will be drafting at QB this year. I didn't particularly rate Drew Lock, but by sitting him for the majority of the season, it is perfect preparation for him and his development, similar to how Mahomes started one game (week 17) in his rookie year.
Denver are a much better team than their record suggests. They'll struggle without Chubb, but their losses have been 16-24 @ Oakland (poor), 14-16 to Chicago (heartbreaker), 16-27 @ Green Bay (GB were undefeated at the time), and 24-26 to Jacksonville (DEN were leading 17-3). Denver should arguably be 2-2 right now. Cincinnati however, are tanking. Their pathetic effort against Pittsburgh in primetime (ugh) proved it. While Dalton is playing ok considering the circumstances, they should give Ryan Finley a chance to start. He could be a find.
Dennis, if Haskins proves to be a bust, Washington should trade for Josh Rosen. He would cost possibly a 3rd round pick, and would be available due to Miami tanking for Tua. Washington could focus on building an o-line, and could give Rosen a chance to prove himself in a satisfactory team.

In the end I think it was fair Seattle won. They missed a FG late in the first half. They also intercepted Goff with 2 minutes remaining, but for some reason the clock wasn't going down as fast as it usually does. Rushing plays, and even kneels, usually take 30 seconds off each play. Yet Seattle took off 30 seconds combined, before a -8 yard run and a (good) punt.
The Rams kicker is one of the best, and most reliable. I was devastated when Goff threw that 28-yard pass, and again when he threw the 9-yarder, because that should have been game over.
Dennis - 40 Warrior, & Matt - 39

Sorry, Matt, but no. Rams easily should've won this one, and the Seahawks winning was indeed sloppy. You didn't get to watch the game, so you don't know all the details. Here are a few... To start, when Gurley fumbled in the first half when the Rams were within the Seahawks Red Zone, his forward progressed was stopped. However, the Refs didn't call the play dead, and one of the Seahawks stripped the ball from Gurley even though he wasn't moving forward. Secondly, the TD Winning Drive by the Seahawks included a bad Roughing the Passer Call on Clay Matthews. On this play, Wilson was scrambling outside the pocket, effectively making him a runner and changing how defenders can hit him. But that's the thing: Clay hit Wilson in HIS SHOULDER with HIS OWN SHOULDER (not the head and neck area). All the commentators, including the rules expert, said it was a HORRIBLE CALL. Not to mention, the Winning TD Reception was bobbled by the WR and barely brought in.
Rams should've won by like 7-10 Points. It was slop. But we all have gotten lucky this year win a few games, even more unlucky with so many other games, so it's no big deal. I just hate seeing bad officiating change the outcome of games, even more so in games that could ultimately decide the fate of an entire division (since Seattle now holds the tie breaker with the Rams and have a one game lead).
However, I will acknowledge that none of this would've mattered if the darn Rams Kicker could've made a chip shot. That, as well, was pathetic.
Had Seattle not missed an easy FG near half time, they may've lead 17-6. Instead LA Rams got the ball back in an attacking position, and scored a late TD to make it a 14-13 deficit. Also, the LAR fumble was reviewed, and upheld.
LA Rams score a TD on that fumble: 7pts LAR (13-14) Seattle score a FG near the end of the 1st half: 3pts SEA (13-17) LA Rams get the ball back from a kickoff, and start with possession 23 yards further back: -4pts LAR (16-17) Seattle don't get the roughing the passer penalty on 1st & 10 at LA 40, and instead have to settle for a FG (32-30) LA Rams still need to score points to guarantee a win, so Goff still throws the INT (32-30) Seattle don't play super-conservative, and instead pass the ball around (32-??) Excluding the end of half possessions (kneeling), and the punt play with 2 minutes to go, Seattle up until that point, would have has scored 6 times from 9 offensive possessions. And this season, kickers have made roughly 78.36% of kicks. So Seattle would've had a 52% chance of winning ;)
I saw that roughing the passer penalty though. That was horrible. Horrible in a similar way that the late call in the Denver v Chicago game was. That's twice now that horrific refereeing has cost Dennis.
But yes. I admit I was lucky Similar to Dennis getting lucky with Buffalo down 0-16 in the 4th quarter, away from home. And similar to you getting lucky with Atlanta scoring a TD off a 4th & 3 at ATL 46, while down 17-20 with less than 2 mins left.

If the Refs had blown the play dead when Gurley's progression was stopped... like they should have... the fumble would've never occurred... Also, forward progress can't be reviewed anyway...
Like I said, Rams should've won by at least 7-10 points, and I'm factoring in the missed FGs by both teams...
It's whatever though. The only thing that truly matter was the Rams' kicker missing that chip shot. It's mistakes like that where I wish teams could penalize their own players for blown plays. Seriously, these guys are making millions of dollars. Stuff like that is unacceptable.
Great call that paid off for you in the Seattle Vs. Rams game Matt. I didn't see that one coming although beating Seattle at home can be tricky. Fortune favours the brave I think is the motto of the British SAS and it's going to be the case winning this competition.
Colt McCoy is getting injured again tonight, he hasn't got much protection against a defense people are starting to rank up there with the 2000 Ravens. I don't think they are that good myself, but definitely one of the best defences this year.
Haskins didn't have Guice, McClarren or Jordan Reed playing last week so at the moment I'm giving those bad stats the benefit of the doubt.
Yeah, the Skins have no choice but to send out McCoy. Keenum is hurt, and Haskins simply isn't ready for the NFL yet. Plus, you don't want to rattle the kid anymore. McCoy will hold his own; I'm sure it will be a more competitive game this way (and I'm talking for both Keenum and Haskins).
Anyone pick any BIG upsets this week? I picked one, sort of, but I don't really consider it all that big of an upset.
I'm guessing you're continuing your love affair with Atlanta and will tip them @ Houston? Just remember Lonely God, Atlanta are 1-3, and their win was as fluky as they come (17-20 w/2mins left, 4th & 3 @ ATL 46).
Also, Matt Ryan has already thrown more INTs than what he did during his entire 2018/19 campaign.
I have a good feeling about this NFL week. I'm 100% certain Miami will not lose
EDIT - I see you tipped Houston. Forget my first 2 paragraphs lol.
DOUBLE EDIT - Washington lead 7-0!!!!!
Triple EDIT - Never mind...

Man, Dennis knows when to pick those crummy Bills. lol
Darn Cowboys. They could've easily won that game. Three horrible interceptions. Two missed Fields Goals. And a handful of trips inside the Packers forty only to be pushed back out due to a number of sacks.
Dennis picked way risky, and it paid off for the most part. He gained another game on us. Still plenty of time to catch up, but some of these teams are making it tough.
I seriously don't understand the Titans. They are Jekyll and Hyde. My gut says to go with the Broncos next week against them, but then my head says they'll probably win just because they won't be favored. They seriously need to stop playing to the talent level of their competition. You can't sustain.
I think I got lucky with the Green Bay game to be honest, Prescott threw for 463 yards and a couple of Touchdowns. Fortunately for me and the Packers he also threw three costly interceptions. Not sure how Kansas and the Chargers lost, those results surprised me.
Next weeks games are tricky, there's about five there that in my mind could go either way, one of the games is Miami vs Washington. Not sure why Washington are the favourites, they look awful and surely Miami will want to try and win in front of their home crowd against a team they have a good chance to beat.
