Lol, that's great news. What type of work experience are you doing Matt?
Alex Smith had to go, the guy was accounting for 15 million in cap space and he couldn't move which made him a liability considering the surgery he recently had. He did though have a 5-1 record as a starter last year which is impressive considering what he went through. There's talk of Smith going to Chicago, but there's also talk of Russell Wilson going there as the Seahawks want to unload him because he was outspoken a couple of weeks ago regarding the protection he gets from the offensive line. In my opinion it's the coach that needs to be replaced, the guy disbanded the Legion of Doom, and other outspoken players. Without Russell Wilson the Seahawks will drift into obscurity.
I'm hoping Washington pick up CB Stephon Gilmore and OT Orlando Brown Jr. if they become available as everyone presumes.
Everything is still up in the air with Dak Prescott, Deshuan Watson, and Russell Wilson. Three key players who have a lot of say in who wins division titles next year. I personally think DeShaun Watson will sit out the season because the Texans refuse to trade him, Russell Wilson plays for the Bears and Dak Prescott signs with Seattle. Dallas trade up for a top rookie with the draft capital they get from Prescott. I can't believe the amount of money Prescott is asking for, no wonder Jerry Jones is annoyoed with him. It's not as if he has a Super Bowl under his belt or plenty of playoff victories.
I'm watching the NFL very closely in the next few weeks leading up to the draft as I think there are going to be more surprises than in previous years and teams will want to know where they stand before they start drafting players.
