I only have Parsons to the Eagles because I have the Top 3 WRs gone by the time the Eagles Pick. If one of them is there, I would have to think the Eagles go WR at #12.

Agreed. I can also see a timeline where they take a CB. Their roster is a bit of a mess.

Yeah, they might want to trade down if an Elite Guy is not there.

James Conner has signed with the Cardinals. A nice RB who I think can succeed there but he isn't quite a #1 RB. He had a good season and some nice games in Pitt but on the whole has been a little disappointing between his injuries and a relative lack of production.

I don't get that move for the Cards. He doesn't really fit what they are going for on offense. Maybe an end zone RB? I thought they would draft a RB on Day 2.

They still may. Conner is a nice player if he doesn't have to carry the load completely. I think Edmonds will take most of the carries.

If I was the Cards, I would try to trade down in the 1st and get some additional picks. They don't have many after all the moves they've made, so it might be wise. I get staying put if a guy like Farley falls to you, but if there isn't anyone of that caliber left on the board, I would trade down and try to acquire at least a 3rd Rounder. They might be able to get RB Gainwell from Memphis (speed demon) in the 3rd.

Cardinals are quietly building a Super Bowl contender, they could make a run in the playoffs in 2021. I see a team with some good young and old players which is the balance you want.

They were a few close games from making the playoffs last year.

Exactly, and improved from last year. Watt, healthy Chandler Jones, more involved Simmons, and replacing aging Peterson with Butler and possible rookie CB. They should easily make the Wild Card.

Clowney just signed with the Browns. If him and Garrett can stay healthy, good luck.

Am I the only person that doesn't think Clowney is as good as he seems to think he is? He's a good player but he's never put up huge numbers as a pass rusher.

Vince Williams has resigned with the Steelers. He's a nice solid starting MLB that I was worried about replacing.

Clowney never lived up to expectations because he has always had poor motivation. But he can disrupt, and that could be huge in helping Garrett have more one on ones.

True, I'm sure you can attribute some of JJ Watt's monster seasons to Clowney being next to him. His personal stats have always been disappointing though.

Yep. It is disappointing when any hall of fame talent does not live up to the hype. He is not too old though so he might be able to turn it around.

I personally think Clowney will be overshadowed by Chase Young in the next few years and be forgotten. Chase Young has a great chance of getting in if he plays like he did in his rookie year for the next few years. The guy's a beast.

Clowney is already overshadowed by the likes of Joey Bosa, Nick Bosa, Myles Garrett, and Chase Young. He never lived up to the hype, which is a shame. Coming out of college, all the analysts said he would be a Hall of Famer if he played up to his potential. But he never did. Just another 1st Rounder that fell into the 50% of not being a homerun.

Will we ever see another Lawrence Taylor, a guy who comes into the league and changes the way the game is played. I recently studied old highlight footage and he was special. I see now why L.T. was called Superman. I followed his career while he was playing and never fully appreciated how good he was.l

Parsons and Davis could easily become like LT, but they will have to maximize their potential. Both are freak athletes, just like how LT was.
