Always take power rankings with a huge mountain of salt. They're mostly nonsense and just for clicks, especially preseason ones. Washington has a ton of potential but also needs to translate it into wins. They beat the Dak-less Cowboys twice and the Eagles twice, once when they were blatantly tanking. They beat the Bengals in the game Joe Burrow got injured in, then beat the 49ers with Nick Mullens. The one solid win they had was against the Steelers, funny enough. I think Washington can win 10 or 11 games but they've got a tough schedule being the division winner - they have to play the AFC West and NFC South, plus games against the Seahawks, Bills, and Packers.
Bad news for the Eagles. Carson Wentz got hurt at practice Thursday and might need surgery and will miss time in the season. That second round pick they got from the Colts only turns to a first if Wentz plays 75% of the snaps or plays 70% and the Colts make the playoffs. Both are very unlikely if Wentz misses 4 games or more. None of the Colts other QB has much or any NFL experience.
