I would not be surprised if the Chiefs catch fire. Their defense is bad, but they only need to make a couple of stops when that offense is on. Chiefs biggest problem this far has been Mahomes with those turnovers. Eight picks in six games? That is only going to make their defensive deficiencies all the worse.
If the Redskins keep losing, they will get a QB. Maybe they can convince Wilson or Rodgers to come there after the season.
Yeah, Miami is in trouble. Defense is banged up and underperforming. Flores has horrible time management recently. Offensive Coordinator calling terrible plays. Offensive Line has talent but is currently worst in the league somehow. If they lose to Falcons, expect at least on firing (I would bet on the OC).
It?s such a shame, Flores had the Dolphins going in the right direction, they even managed to grab the quarterback in the draft they wanted. Then this business with DeShaun Watson kicks off and rumors start swirling that the Dolphins want to trade for him and all of a sudden the team is divided. Teammates start leaking stories to the press stating Tua is no good, he has a weak arm and is too conservative. The owner publicly states he wants Watson while Flores backs Tua. The Dolphins don?t make Tua a captain and now Miami loses to a team that has lost their last 24 games straight.
Miami need to put the DeShaun rumors to bed once and for all and get behind Flores and Tua. I?m wondering how much Fitzpatrick leaving affected the Dolphins. He was their talisman, the guy they looked towards in moments of doubt, hoping he could perform some of his magic.
I do not understand why people think Tua had a weak arm. He did nothing but throw sixty yard bombs when in college, and he was throwing darts against the Jags all game long. His arm is plenty strong.
I especially do not like the Watson rumors. If the Phins do not want Tua, I would rather them try for Rodgers or Wilson before Watson.
Heh, believe it or not, I tied for first this week in my familys picks. You three did way great this week.
I wouldn?t like it either if Watson was connected with Washington. Thankfully with this enquiry about misconduct in DC ongoing Washington is the last place Watson will end up.
I don?t see a problem with Tua?s arm either, those darts he throws look as if they have enough zip on them to me. I think it?s the veterans upset that he replaced Fitzpatrick who was super popular in the locker room who started all that nonsense that went on in the papers.
I think Tua got a bad rap last year because he was not aggressive with the ball. In his two starts this year, he has looked like a completely different player. The grass is not always greener on the other side; develop and back Tua and try to save the season with the easy schedule you have.
Wow. Bills do nothing in the 4th and let the Titans come back and take lead. Bills then went for the win instead of OT and did not get it. Upset by the Titans. Will they make it two in a row by taking down the Chiefs next week?
I'm surprised the Titans won that game, I had the Bills winning by at least two touchdowns. I don't know who the best quarterback in the NFL is, but I can say without a doubt that Derrick Henry is the best running back. The guy brings a load, he is a cornerback's nightmare when he gets into the secondary. Reminds me of Jim Brown and John Riggins the way he runs. A powerback with speed.
Unlucky picks Warrior. I agree Detroit have been playing well despite being 0-6, but I think Cincy are playing better. I also understand the Carolina pick. But not the Cleveland pick. They are very average imo.
I didn't think Baltimore would win, let alone destroy LA Chargers 34-6. It's amazing that Baltimore have a 5-1 record. They had no right winning against Las Vegas, Detroit, Kansas City, or Indy. They should be 1-5, but Lamar has rallied the team wonderfully.
Minnesota play yet another close game. They're very hard to read this season. These have been their results all season: 24-27 loss to Cincy in overtime 33-34 loss to Arizona (6-0) (missed a game-winning FG) 30-17 win vs Seattle (trailed 6-17) 7-14 loss to Cleveland (scored 7 against Cleveland's average defense) 19-17 win vs Detroit (0-6) (trailed 16-17 with 33 seconds at MIN 18, & kicked a game-winning 54-yard FG) 34-28 win vs Carolina in overtime
Dallas are the real deal. They are 5-1, with their only loss coming 5 weeks ago against Tampa Buy (29-31 loss). Dak is also looking like an outside MVP contender. His stats this season have been 16TDs, 4INTs, & a 115.0 passer rating.
Buffalo choked a 31-24 lead late against Tennessee. Tennessee are also extremely difficult to read. Minnesota and Tennessee need to play asap.
When I heard Parker, Howard & Jones were out for Miami, I believed that Jacksonville were the favourites. But I didn't change my tip cause that usually ends in disaster. Throwing away a 13-3 lead against the 0-20 Jaguars in their last 20 games, is horrific. Horrible play calling. And people are making Tua the scapegoat AGAIN! He played well, and then consider that we have WR injuries and a poor o-line. But apparently he "isn't good enough" and "lost the game for Miami".
We are a basketcase at the moment. We should be 0-6, because had NE not fumbled in FG range they would've beaten us in week 1. And we don't have a 1st round pick, because we threw it away to choose a WR when we could've chosen a WR with pick 12. Then throw in the fact that Flores has suddenly become an inept coach. Through his first season everyone agreed that we had finally found the right coach. Now look what has happened...
~ Sometimes people change, but sometimes you just open your eyes & realise who they truly are ~
I'm reading reports that Watson could be dealt to Miami before the end of the week. This has to be the stupidest thing the Dolphins have done (if it happens) since changing the culture of the franchise and building toward the future a few years back. They are currently 1-5 with virtually no chance to even reach the playoffs -- Watson isn't going to change that. And what happens in February when his 24 Civil Trials begin, huh? And what about the 10 Criminal Complaints filed against him with the Houston Police?
Tua isn't the problem. Flores has had poor clock management, and like Dennis alluded to, he has lost a lot of locker room by not backing Tua as the starter. The Offensive Coordinator has called horrible plays all year. The Phins have the worst Offensive Line in the league... They have absolutely no running game... Their Top 5 defensive of last year is banged up and has flipped to a Bottom 5...
Keep Tua and our picks; don't throw it all away for nothing.
I think the Cleveland Browns must have the best backups in the league. They had Chubb and Hunt both out, and they still managed to run all over the Broncos.
