The whole AFC picture at the moment is not clear, There's about a dozen teams that could represent then if they string some win together. I still like the Bills. I didn't see the Panthers beating the Cardinals in the NFC. I'm beginning to like Green Bay as the NFC representatìve, the Bucs and Cardinals both look vulnerable lately.
Two of them were against the Jets though. If the Phins rip off four more in a row, will most not say it had to do with playing the Texans, Giants and Jets twice?
I have Chiefs one, Bills two. I personally would have the Browns three over the Titans since they will be a much different team once Chubb and Hunt are back.
NFC is still Bucs and Packers to me. Rams starting to fumble. Cowboys could easily have a dud like last week in the playoffs. And the Cardinals are lacking experience imo.
Fair fair. I think I'm just impressed by how well the Pats are doing with Mac Jones. Before yesterday I would've had the Chiefs at 3 or 4 if the season ended right then. But they played well yesterday.
The Bucs look good too but have had a couple weird games. Same with the Packers and Rams now too. I know the Cowboys had the dud against Denver but they've looked really good otherwise. That week 1 loss to the Bucs wasn't bad.
There's always been rumors that the NFL is fixed, I'm beginning to wonder when I see these results that go completely against the grain.
If Belichick wins another Super Bowl with Mac Jones you have to say the guy is the greatest coach ever. Everybody said Mac Jones wasn't much good and he had a low ceiling, I was praying the Redskins didn't select him, now not so sure.
Tennessee either thrash quality opponents, or scrape past weaker teams. As Warrior said, a very fortunate win.
What a Detroit game. They've been so close to winning several games, so now they get even closer by tieing... As for Pittsburgh, disgraceful loss. That is a loss for them.
Washington exposed Tampa Bay. With the team they have, Tampa Bay should not be 6-3. I'm not convinced that they are the real deal. They are still yet to win their division under Brady.
Cleveland are pathetic. No way should you let the mediocre Patriots nearly score a 50-burger.
Dallas are quietly becoming one of the SB contenders this season. Green Bay are the clear favourites at this stage, but Dallas are looking strong for that #2 seed.
Laughable how the 1-5 in their last 6 games Panthers go and thrash the 8-1 Cardinals 34-10 away from home. I know Arizona have key injuries, but they managed to easily beat a healthy 49ers team last week.
Minnesota do the usual. They've got to be one of the best sub .500 teams in recent memory. That's an impressive road win. Cousins continues to play well, and the defense turned up this time.
Seattle getting shutout as soon as they get Wilson back is a new low.
LA Rams are in a slump. No way should they lose to SF, let alone by 10-31. That's a costly game for Miami. If SF keep this form up they'll win a lot more games.

I've gone with 2 upset picks this week, and I was very tempted by a 3rd. One of the picks I'm confident with, and the other one is a gut feeling.
~ Sometimes people change, but sometimes you just open your eyes & realise who they truly are ~
Bad result for Pittsburgh, but I'm not too worked up over it. Terrible weather, backup QB, WR1 out, TJ Watt got hurt early on. Detroit is clearly better than 0-8 too. Plus Cleveland and Baltimore lost.

Don't tell me Haskins played? Last I heard he upset the Pittsburgh fans, he was supposed to be warming up on the sidelines but was instead on his phone disinterested in what was happening on the field.
Jay Gruden has just done and interview where he stated that Washington did not want to do business with Kyle Shanahan when they had Trent Williams. The 49rs offered 2 firsts and 2 seconds for him. It's also come to light that Cincinnati offered their first for Trent Williams. The same pick they eventually used to get Joe Burrow. Washington Football team is run by idiots...
I haven't done my picks yet, but I will get to it. I'm originally had some low-level gut feelings that the Falcons might pull the upset on Thursday, but I'm hearing Patterson might be out. I seriously doubt the Pats would struggle if the Falcons only have Pitts to throw to.
New England are convinced they have the second coming of Tom Brady in Mac Jones. It's going to be hard to argue with them if he continues to get better. I bet the 49ers wish they had drafted him instead of Trey Lance. Patriots are as good as anyone on the AFC at the moment.
Mac Jones was always the most "pro ready" out of this group and the Pats set him up the best for success. The Niners don't even really know what they've got in Lance yet.
Yes, I remember the reports before the draft. Most pro ready but with the lowest ceiling. Also lacked mobility, it wasn't a pretty picture that was painted. Most experts thought the 49rs were going to take Jones with the third pick.
Yup. I don't really see "low mobility" as a negative. Brady and Peyton were low mobility. Sam Darnold and Lamar Jackson are high mobility. It seems like nowadays teams want their QB to be this high mobility freak athlete, the problem I see with it is a lot of guys like that rely on their speed and the throwing mechanics aren't all there. We're still seeing it with Lamar Jackson here in his 4th year and he really hasn't improved as a passer. The volume is up a bit but his completion percentage is below average and when the run game gets shut down the whole team looks lost. Is he still going to be able to run in 10 years? I mean look at Cam Newton, look at Vick. They both had about 8 effective years as a starter. If you want to draft a guy and have him be your QB for 12+ years the history points to guys like Lamar not working out. There is a nice middle ground though with guys that can move a bit like Josh Allen, Murray, and Rodgers when he was a a bit younger.
I'm well aware of the upside of having a mobile QB but they don't seem to have the most longevity historically, and I'm not sure the mobility is worth it at the cost of throwing mechanics. To me it's an issue when some of these QB's seem to be run-first, which might've worked in high school and college. Not the NFL.
