Had to laugh at the Falcons, the Patriots showed them how to choke a 25 point lead, and now they show them how to not choke a 25 point lead. Mac Jones may not be spectacular, but he knows how to move that offense up and down the field and keep the defense honest. He is better than what Tom Brady was at the same time in their careers which is a bit scary. Everyone who wrote off Belechick after one season must be feeling a bit foolish now. I'm beginning to think he gets some kind of power from that hoody he always wears or he may just be the best coach in NFL history.
Lol. You do have to be impressed. Mac Jones might have a low ceiling compared to some of the other guys but I think he's going to have a nice long career.
I'm just praying we don't see another New England dynasty, I hate that team. They ruined countless Super Bowls for me by just being the AFC representatve. It got to the point I wanted to see another team in the big game, literally anybody else.
I wouldn't count out Belichick, the guy has a telephone book that scares other NFL teams, he can call in favours with GMs of other teams who he has helped previously at any time to get deals done.
What's happened to the Bills? All of a sudden they've gone from looking like Super Bowl contenders to looking less than ordinary.
Washigton scrapped past Carolina away, not sure how they managed that without Sweat and Young.
Philadelphia are starting to put things together.
Just wondering, if Washington go quarterback in the draft do you think Sam Howell is a possibility? I was looking at his highlight film and almost all of his long bomb touchdown passes were to a Dyami Brown who happens to be the Washington rookie wide reciever.
Bills are a headache this year. They either are blowing a team out or losing big. Chiefs are coming on, you cannot do that if you have aspirations of defeating them.
Titans gets the loss they should have had last week.
NFL POTY is still up for grabs, no clear winner. All the early favourites have had bad games. Aaron Rodgers, Dak Prescott, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert and Kyler Murray.
Chiefs look like they are getting their act together. Ceedee Lamb has been knocked out of the game so I can't see Dallas coming back.
Tough slate of games for me here in the afternoon. I really thought Seattle would pull out the win with Kyler Murray out. I also forgot that Amari Cooper is out with covid, The Cowboys look lost without him and Lamb. Quick note that Cooper is also out for Thursday's game since he is unvaccinated. Pretty decent week for me overall, hopefully I can keep this one game lead over Dennis and Matt.
Another weeks of only gaining a game on Matt when I could have had more.
Seahawks were very disappointing. It looked like they were coming back, but then there defense, which is hyped at being good, gave up an easy touchdown to sea the game.
Saints are in deep trouble. Three straight losses that all should have been wins. Simian is a backup at best.
Next week the games are not all straight forward selections, there's about five or six that are coin tosses. We may be able to gain some ground on Matt... or fall further behind.
I think steerlersrock01 has overtaken me for second place. I'll find out later today when the site is updated with the weekend's results.
Disappointing week. My 2 upset picks both fell through, and I didn't go with my gut and tip Minnesota like I was tempted to. Thankfully Warrior & Mike both went with Seattle later on. I was also very surprised to see Mike & Dennis join me in tipping the Dallas upset.
Next week is extremely tough. There is going to be serious movement. I've tipped 3 upsets, but easily could've done more.
Fortunate win yet again for Baltimore. I'm not sure if they're frauds, or whether they're playing as well as they can considering injuries.
Not a surprising upset from Minnesota. I've rated them almost all season. I think playoffs may be too difficult considering their 5-5 record, but their form is worthy of a home playoff game.
Lol Buffalo. On the other hand, Indy and Wentz have had a solid season considering the shaky start. Also Jonathon Taylor is dominating the league at the moment. They are a complete team.
Cleveland yet again scraping an undeserved win. Poor Detroit. 0-9-1 despite having the chance to win several games.
Nice win for Washington considering Carolina destroyed Arizona away last week. Their form is good, but their 4-6 record is too poor to make playoffs.
Shocking performance by Tennessee. Just when they looked like being a SB contender, they lose at home to the 1-8 Texans. Tannehill threw 4INTs.
Dominant win again for Philly. The score is misleading. It was 33-7 before garbage time.
Tight scrappy win for Miami, but an away game vs a divisional opponent is always tricky. That's now 3 wins in a row. Tua played well again (22/29 for 270 yards, 2TDs & 1INT). I hope we can win enough games to keep Flores' job. I still believe he is the long-term coach for Miami.
~ Sometimes people change, but sometimes you just open your eyes & realise who they truly are ~
I loved the touchdown throw by Tua in the Miami game, nothing wrong with that arm
Matt, I didn't realize Cooper wasn't playing when I picked Dallas. Then Ceedee Lamb had to leave the game with a concussion. I don't rate Prescott anyway, there's a reason Dallas didn't want to pay him when his contract ended.
Titans without Henry look beatable, teams are no longer scared of them. An ancient Peterson is not the same.
Wentz could end up being League MVP at the current rate, he's quietly doing well with Indianapolis.
I didn't think Washington could win away to Carolina with all their injuries. It's ridiculous how many injuries the team has now. Washington still have the Cowboys to play twice, so you can't discount them just yet. They beat the Cowboys easily last year.
I don't think we are going to see Fitzpatrick again in Washington, Hienecke is listed as the number one quarterback. His stats for the last four games aren't bad, he's getting better with the more experience he gets. I have a sneaky feeling Russell Wilson will be in Washington next year.
I currently have five upsets, not sure why they are upsets to be honest, they are at least 50/50 in my book.
