Totally forgot about Hopkins. Luckily the NFC is kind of weak so they should be alright.

Julio Jones signed a 1 year deal with the Bucs. He's definitely not the Julio of old, but it still seems unfair.

Julio as a WR3 is absolutely crazy. Yes, definitely not his former self, but lets remember that he had Tannehill last year. He will have Brady now, and with Godwin and Evans on the field, no one will be doubling Julio. If, and it is a big if, he can stay healthy, even an older Julio should put up 1k+.

It's starting to look like the Bucs is the place to go if you are a great player who wants to win a Super Bowl before you retire. Looks like Brady will continue to put up great numbers with those three targets to hit.

I've seen Antonio Brown linked with a Pittsburgh return.

Tomlin has said that the only way AB returns to the Steelers is on a one-day, retirement contract. lol

Metcalf gets an extension from the Seahawks. Wise to get that done before a season of having either Drew Lock or Geno Smith throwing at you.

Nice deal for Metcalf, 3 yr/72M with 50 guaranteed, puts him in line to get a massive deal after as well, and set for life anyway if he gets injured.

Word is, Deshaun Watson ruling coming tomorrow. Oh, what fun.

Only Six Games for Deshaun Watson. Huge win for the browns, who will now have a shot to squeak into the playoffs.

Six games for Watson, the Browns have got lucky. Pity we can't say the same for Baker Mayfield who has been unlucky since being traded to the Carolina Panthers where he is struggling. He keeps throwing interceptions. Word out of Carolina is Matt Corral is the guy in the wings and getting ready to take over from Mayfield and Darnold.

Makes me laugh how every year I follow the Washington training camp and every year there's talk of the team going deep into the playoffs and every year I get disappointed. They're currently talking about Carson Wentz as if he were Dan Marino the way he is firing the ball around the field. Lets just hope he saves some of that for actual games.

How are things going in Miami, I've not heard much talk about Tua recently.

The only downside for the Browns is that Deshaun will return to play the Ravens and then the Bengals. Probably two more losses there, as you to figure he will be rusty after not playing for close to two full years. But then they have a bye, so he should be oiled come Week 10. Sadly, they play the Phins in Week 10, which will probably be a loss for Miami.

All I've heard out of Miami is the hype of Tyreek Hill. I hope it's true. Tua was such a great deep ball thrower in college, but you haven't been able to see it since the hip injury. Hopefully he'll be able to drive the ball now two and half years after the fact.

Dolphins stripped of 2023 1st and 2024 3rd for having tampered with Brady and Sean Peyton previous. Ouch.

Six games for Watson, I was expecting at least 8.

Wow, Miami losing a 2023 first round pick and a 2024 for Tampering in 2019 talking to Tom Brady, owner fined and suspended as well. That's a crazy harsh punishment for something I'm positive happens all the time.

Matt won't be happy when he hears that Miami have lost their 2023 first round draft pick. The 3rd in 2024 is not too bad but the first is the loss of a potential elite player.

Hearing Tua is throwing 60 yard bombs to Hill in practice...

Mike: Completely agree. I might be biased because I am a Phins Fan, but this is way too harsh. I have a feeling the Flores lawsuit is what prompted this lashing.

Dennis: Well, Miami is gonna need Tua to drop plenty of those bombs now that they lost their 1st. Luckily, they still have the Niners 1st, which should be pretty decent if Lance has some struggles.

That is such a shame, two firsts in the 2023 draft could have ramped up the team considerably. Looks like Miami will have to settle for Tua now whether they like it or not as the option to cash in the two number one draft picks in 2023 to move up the board and grab a top quarterback is now gone

Yeah, the Phins could be stuck with Tua regardless after the season without that second 1st. Even if Lance struggle, I see the Niners being anywhere between 6-11 to 10-7; they have a really good team otherwise.

The only exception would be if Tua struggles and then Brady wants to play for the Phins in 2023. However, after this punishment, I doubt Brady will go to Miami now.

NFL appealing Deshaun Watson suspension. Goodell gets to decide who hears the appeal, and, per the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement, Goodell can even rule over the appeal himself. NFLPA is going to sue the NFL for issuing this appeal.

If Watson is suspended for anymore than eight games, the Browns are done. Unless, of course, they trade for Jimmy G.

The team has enough talent and a weak enough starting schedule that even mediocre QB play should at least get them competing for the playoffs. I think Watson will at least be suspended the season, and it's nonsense if they were taking him sitting out last season as part of his punishment considering he choose to do that.

I still think Watson should have been thrown out of the league bringing the NFL into disrepute. If he wasn't such a high profile player he would be somehow gone.

In my opinion the NFL should have at least told the teams that were thinking of adding Watson to their rooster that they would be penalised, that he would cost them a couple of number one draft picks on top of what the Texans were asking. It would have cooled interest in him straight away.

If more than eight, I doubt they make the playoffs. They could win a few during the first eight, but not many in the back nine without Watson.

I predict the Cleveland Browns have a total disaster of a season and Watson comes back a shadow of his former self. The guy has to be rusty, he's playing in a new team where he has to learn a new system, and there is a ton of pressure on him to perform. Expectations will get the better of Watson and he will crumble.
