I agree, the rookie will be on soon for Pittsburgh. That was an important game for the Steelers.

What's this I hear that Bill Belichick wants to sign Lamar Jackson? I thought the Patriots were happy with Mac Jones. I can't see Belichick stumping up the money Jackson wants when he becomes a free agent.

Yeah, Steelers might be screwed now. Even if they defeat the Jets next week, they have like a six or eight stretch of playoff-caliber clubs. Rough.

Steelers offense is toothless, and the defense isn't good without Watt. Might as well just let the rookie play.

Couldn't hurt, right? I'm mean, if you have a down year, it won't be too bad since you will have a high pick to help your team and Pickett will have valuable experience. Stinks to lose but could be win/win in long run.

Yeah, the only concern is confidence or injury. I doubt he'd be much worse than Trubisky though. They just need to change the scheme up. Two runs up the middle for 6 yards and then a pass on 3rd every series is not getting it done. Matt Canada is one of the worst OCs in the league.

You would think they would open it up more with all those weapons. You literally have Pickens, Claypool, Johnson and Friermuth-Why would you not let it rip and use Harris as the dagger?

Trubishky's days in Pittsburgh are numbered, he clearly isn't the guy. He is only starting because he has the experience. As soon as the Steelers are out of contention it will be the start of the Kenny Pickett era as they'll give him the rest of the season to get experience for the 2023 season.

Why the Steelers are wasting space keeping Rudolph Mason is beyond me. They have Picket listed as the backup quarterback, so he is surplus to requirements. The only reason he is still there is because he knows the playbook.

Per reports, Washington actually wanted Jimmy G over Wentz. However, after learning that Jimmy G needed surgery, the Commanders decided to settle for Wentz.

Sounds like a desperate move to me. I would never give up multiple draft picks for a guy that was not my first choice.

Yes, I heard that too Warrior13. I think the price for Garapollo was much higher than what Washington ended up getting Wentz for though. If I remember correctly the Colts were after Washington's number 19 pick in the first round.

In my opinion Rivera panicked after none of the decent quarterbacks wanted to play in Washington, these included Rogers and Watson. Wentz was pushed out of Indianapolis, they didn't want him, although he put up good numbers with the team his play was eratic and there was locker room issues. Wentz has basically landed on his feet

The Baltimore Colts left Baltimore in 1984 to go to Indianapolis yet whenever I see Baltimore I still think Colts. Horrified to just realize that I've picked the Patriots to beat the Baltimore Ravens, I thought it was the Colts. I can't see that happening, huge upset if it does. I hope that mistake doesn't cost me at the end of the season.

Miami have beat Buffalo despite Josh Allen throwing for 400 yards. I'd be very excited if I were a Dolphin fan right about now, I now know there's not a team in the NFL that can beat me on any given Sunday. Even more so seeing the Indianapolis Colts beating the Chiefs. Miami now in my book can reach the Super Bowl, there's not a team out there they should fear. Tyreek Hill going to Miami is beginning to look like Deion Sanders going from the Cowboys to the 49rs, that one player has caused a shift in power.

I bet you are Warrior13, if me and the other two boys don't get our acts together you will be running away with this year's competition. Some strange results this week to be fair though.

I thought it was a pretty straightforward week. Jaguars and Colts winning was a bit shocking, but Titans, Packers and Dolphins were toss ups to begin with.

Ah, some of mine didn't work out too well this week. Disappointing but sometimes you gotta go with the upset.

Yeah, sometimes better to just go with your gut. Might not pay off some weeks, but could be huge on others. Happens. Long season.

Warrior 13, the underdog won 9 games this week. Well played though, you are three games clear of the pack. It's usually Matt that's leading at this stage and the rest of us trying to keep up with him.

That was such an impressive win. Don't listen to the butthurt Bills fans saying we beat their practice squad. Miami had the ball for 19 minutes and somehow managed to win. Late in the 4th quarter while trailing 14-17, Tua completed a 45-yard pass on 3rd and 22 to get into the red zone (we scored the go-ahead TD two plays later). Then the defense stopped Buffalo when they had 1st and goal at MIA 1.

With @ Cincy next week, this has been an extremely tough start to the season. To be 3-1 at worst and possibly 4-0, is remarkable. And it's necessary, given how tough Miami's schedule is. The only easy games are probably NY Jets x2 and Houston. There are a lot of 60/40 games in there which could allow Miami to cruise to a playoff spot, or struggle and miss out entirely.

Why are Denver struggling so much, and why is Russel Wilson playing so poorly? Struggling to adjust to a new team? Playing injured? They have beaten two very average teams in Houston and SF (had to make a Q4 comeback against Houston) and even lost to Seattle. I notice that they are listed as underdogs to the 0-3 Raiders.

I think the Broncos are just having some growing pains. New coach, new regime. Give it a couple of months. If still this bad in December, the Sean Peyton rumors shall commence.

Giants lost. Did I not call it like four days ago? Knew I should have not given them any trust whatsoever.

I'm glad the Dolphins are playing well, unfortunately Washington is trash this season. The predictions are a 2-15 season and a top five pick in the draft. I personally think it will be more like 5-12 and move out of position to get a top quarterback.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Wentz on week 12, if Wentz throws more than 70% of the passes the third round 2023 becomes a second round pick which could end up being a late 30s pick if Washington continue to play poorly. I bet Washington start Sam Howell by about week 10, that 2023 second round pick is beginning to look precious.

Any quarterbacks in the 2023 draft that have elite potential? I need to start doing my homework on them as Wentz isn't going to be around.

Yeah, I always like to cheer for the Dolphins. It's going to be tough this week against Cincy who are going to be playing hard and more or less trying to save the season.

I don't think the Broncos are really a great team. Tough division, Wilson had some stinker games last year.

Giants were maybe the worst 2-0 team ever so I'm not surprised they lost. Dallas has looked alright with Rush at QB.

I did expect the Raiders to have at least one win by now. I had them contending for a playoff spot and they very well might start 0 - 5 with tough games against the Broncos and Chiefs next, and not a single "easy" game on their entire schedule.

Apparently Tua has a concussion and a sore ankle and is unlikely to play against the Bengals tomorrow night. Just when you thought Tua's luck has changed this happens. Apparently he played most of the game against the Bills concussed. Tua's teammates say it was obvious to see in the huddle, he didn't know where he was. I find that strange, the Tua I saw played his best ever NFL game.

I may have to change my pick if Teddy Bridgewater is starting. I'm taking the Dolphins in another shootout, something like 31-28. The Dolphins are on a roll, they believe in Tua now after the last couple of weeks.
