Tua was not concussed, he is having back spams. But the ankle soreness is correct.

Currently have four upsets, but might switch my Chiefs/Bucs game. Hurricane Ian might move that game to Vikings Stadium, which would be a big blow to the Bucs. Vikings/Saints is also a London Game, something I did not realize until picking. lol

Thankfully he is OK, he joined the team and is flying back to Miami with them. He is not playing next week.

That is annoying, Miami would have won that game if Tua hadn't of got injured. The Dolphins are nowhere near as effective with Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback.

I am glad it was only a concussion. Looked way worse.

I am guessing he will be out multiple games, especially now that the Phins are under fierce scrutiny.

Media swarming around Tua situation. It is not Miamis Coach fault that the medical staff AND a private neurologist passed Tua out of concussion protocol.

Changed one of my picks due to injury news. Only three or so upsets now.

Yeah not much the coach can do if medical clears him. Still scary and they're going to come under fire now.

3 upsets for me, flip flopping on 2 others though.

I hope common sense prevails and that he doesn't play next week, even though it's a 10-day break. The Miami medical staff and independent doctor both passed Tua before the game, so either they were both incompetent, or the NFL's concussion protocols need a revamp. Glad he is ok now and that he was discharged so quickly.

Here in most of Australia's sporting codes, if a player gets concussed they are immediately ruled out of next week's game, even if it's a postseason game. I think that would be a good idea for the NFL to implement as well.

I'm not convinced with Cincy at all. Even with Tua out of the game, they were training 14-15 at end end of Q3. Why have they regressed so much?

We will never know if Tua was concussed in the Bills game or not. The eye test says he was, but you simply cannot go based off of that (which is why the protocol was first developed). Let me tell you, I have had the wind knocked out of me while playing football, and I came up stumbling similar to how Tua did in the Bills game. If everyone is saying he passed the protocol, we have to take it at face value and not overreact.

It's also possible (and likely) that the protocol is bad and that players have clear incentive to try and hide their symptoms as much as they can. In other sports players can miss weeks or months for these kinds of injuries.

A big part of the problem is the player wants to play, fear of losing their spot I guess.

Teams have a whole year's worth of film to study and prepare for Cincinnati's passing game, they are not an unknown commodity anymore. Shocking the amount of times Burrow gets sacked now, I think it's second most in the league.

People are already saying Philadelphia are Super Bowl bound. I seem to recall everyone saying the same thing about the Cardinals last year at this stage.

I have four upsets at the moment, but that could change, I can't make my mind up on a couple. The Raiders are due a win, but Denver will be desperate to win that game against their division rival and Wilson is under scrutiny, so he will want to play well.

Philly is good, but Hurts is far too inconsistent for me to consider them a contender at this point. They still would have to get through Brady, Rogers, Stafford, and/or Jimmy G. Nah.

Hurts has been really good this year. Still want a little more out of him terms of throwing the ball, but there's a clear progression from last year where it seemed like his first option was to run and he would throw if he had to. He's still running a lot and doesn't have a great arm but in a weak NFC with a good roster they won't need much more than above average QB play to compete and he's playing pretty well so far.

They are also benefitting from a bit of a soft schedule.

Hey, great minds, right? I really wanted tp pick seattle over Detroit but I really love rooting for the Lions.

Disappointing loss for Pitt, but nice to see Pickett get a shot. He didn't do much but had 2 nice rushing TD's and the offense was definitely livelier with him at QB.

Nice bounceback for Philly after being dominated early.

You are going to be difficult to beat this year Warrior13.

I went with the Broncos, just felt they had the better quarterback, I'm beginning to wonder if Wilson is as good as the experts say he is. I remember Tom Brady leaving New England and winning the Super Bowl with Tampa the following year.

I wonder what is going to happen in Washington. Reports are coming in that supporters are leaving in droves. I can see why, after Sunday's shocking performance they looked unrecognizable all in black. At least with their bugandy and white costumes they resemble the old Redskins. Wentz, Rivera, and Del Rio will be gone if they lose too many more games. A new head coach will be brought in who will start Sam Howel. The new head coach will have nothing to lose he will already be in charge of the worst team in the NFL, performance and looks wise.

I didn't think the black uniforms looked that bad, Just not at all representative of the Redskins.
