Battlefield 1 BETA impressions

Has anyone had any time on the BETA so far? I have been on a bit and mostly enjoyed it although there are clearly still a lot of problems to iron out. But then that's the point of a BETA.
Still undecided though about the game. The feel of it seems to remind me much more of Star Wars Battlefront, a game that i got with great anticipation but then went back to playing BF4. Battlefront just didn't feel as complete a game.

Im hoping they may add a second map into the mix before the end of the Beta to give us more of an idea.

I downloaded it yesterday, but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. How long is the beta available for?

THey haven't given an end date as far as I know.. Hopefully it will be around until sometime next week (not just the weekend) but I dont know.

I really have enjoyed it. Cannot get off the game long enough to go pee unless the servers are down.

I like riding the horse. I played mainly rush cause I couldn't get into a conquest match while playing with my buddies. Just sat up in the rocky sides sniping silly players just sitting in the middle of the map all day.

Thats funny, i've had more luck getting into Conquest rooms.
The horses are good, I didn't think I would like them, but they are fun. Bit hard to get them to turn round when you get stuck on rocks etc. but on open ground they are good.

You can pull out a sword and cut off people's heads. I liked that, but as you said getting stuck wasn't a easy task to get out of.

Played again last night. Very happy that they have made a change to extend the Conquest games now. There is no time limit and its 300 score / tickets to win. So at least we get some more time to fight the battle. Actually had a round where our side got the train due to being way behind the enemy and then we turned it around by the end and won. Makes much more sense to have a train for more than a minute or two.

I think this game is getting on my shopping list now
