I have been bitten by 0 poisonous or venomous animals/insects/bugs in my life. Haven't broken any bones either. I guess you could say I'm pretty lucky.
But then again...

My friend lives in Italy where there was a terrible earthquake recently that killed 290 people and he said it was one of the scariest things he has ever experienced, literally woke up 4.30am in the morning with the ground moving and ran out of the house into an open field as fast as he could. He couldn't enter the house again afterwards until a structural engineer had inspected it for damage. He was lucky hne had a house which could be inspected, look at the state the earthquake left some of his neighbours homes...
BBC currently saying the first quake was a 7.5 and you have since had a 6.2 aftershock. 2 people reported to have died although one of them may have died of other causes (not from the earthquake itself.)
A few pictures of landslides and broken roads, looks like its going to be a big cleanup. But mostly reports of people helping each other. You might be off school for a while depending on where you live.
