Wimbledon has begun, and the Tour de France. 2 sports I dont know much about really. Have to be excited for wimbledon though here though.. Tour de france cycling is kind of interesting too. I dont understand all the classifications and teams but its incredible what the riders can do.
Anyone else checking out these or other sports right now?

I find cycling so dry so it's a relief Wimbledon is on right now. It's just too bad that all but one Australian have been knocked out in the first round. I'll have to pin our hopes on doubles.
And by the way these are Winter sports too ;)

I've not been a fan of cycling in the past. But I'm trying to get my head around all the different layers to the TdF and the sport in general. THe endurance of these guys though is amazing.
Right.. it's winter time too. I should remember that.

I'm looking forward to the Connor McGregor vs Flod Mayweather mega fight at the end of August. It's the best MMA fighter the UFC has going up against one of the greatest boxers ever. Should be interesting for a couple of rounds, I can't see McGregor winning seeing as it's a boxing match with Queensbury rules. If it was inside the Octogon it would be a different story, Mayweather gets dragged to the ground and choked out inside of a round.
What is the appeal of two people fighting? And it's not even fighting like you see in movies. They just fall on top of each other, wrap every body part around the other, and start wriggling.

I hope you're right, about Murray. I don't like him at all but hope Konta does well. She had an epic match where she won 10-8 in the third set and played brilliantly against another player who played brilliantly. Murray just doesn't have any personality in my opinion.
Heather Watson of Britain also got close to making it through but fell in a tough match against Azarenka. Reminded me of when she was so close to beating Serena Williams a few years ago.
And I think you have to do a bit more than wriggle
