Hollywood and McFarlane

As you probably have seen or read there have been a lot of allegations in the world of Hollywood. Finally actresses and some actors have been feeling safe and confident enough to speak out against abuse in the workplace.

However, I am a huge Family Guy fan and through watching these series I have noticed the amount of references to stars, producers or directors. There is usually an off hand comment about abuse, a joke and then off to the next scene. Recently I saw an episode where they named director Bryan Singer in this way and all of a sudden I'm seeing allegations about him.

So does Seth McFarlane know exactly what is going on and uses them as anecdotes?
Should he have spoken out?
Or is this just a weird coincidence?

What do you think about the Hollywood scandals?

Probably just coincidence. Didn't The Simpsons have Trump as President years ago, or at least in some big position of power?

In terms of the scandals, I'm sure not all of them are true, but a large amount of them will be. Anything for equality is a good thing, and if that means naming and shaming those people so that things like that never happen again, then it's good it's all coming out. But seriously though, what is wrong with some men? Me, or the guys I know would never think about touching a woman physically or sexually.

I agree with Matt, with just about everything really. There?s a reason why there is a statute of limitations on rape and other forms of molestation: because, after five years, it?s hard to prove if something happened, if it even happened. I think most are legitimate, but you just never know since most of these allegations are decades old.

Maybe he's just psychic....
