An interesting roundup of the Sweet 16, to say the least.

Eirika absolutely annihilates Necrozma, Mewtwo gets a slim triumph, Celica picked up a late edge, and Drowzee beat the fabled barefoot waifu dragon girl. That said, we move on to Round 3, which means less work for yours truly, who is much relieved.

1) Lille - She's my girl. Was hoping for Serena to face her since they are both in my Top 3, but this makes my decision a little easier. AZ forgive me, but your precious can now return to you.

2) Greninja - My favorite in SSB, and still the best starter in terms of sheer power. Would also literally OHKO Toucannon, which I know the Battle Master likes.

3) Snowball - I didn't receive my wish of Serena v Lillie this round, so can everyone just help me get Lillie v Snowball in the final four. Trainer versus her very own Pokemon - who will win?

4) ........................ - Red has got to be one of the most recognizable Pokemon Characters ever. Plus, he's one heck of a trainer. He isn't a Battle Legend for nothing.

For the first match: I guess I will go Lillie. Don't really care for her character, but my sister loves both her and Iris.

For the second match: I'm gonna go with Toucannon. Ever since Pidgeot, I've loved the Normal/Flying Pokemon. I also wanted a toucan to be one for quite some time.

For the third match: I'm gonna pick Lyn. If it was Kanto Ninetales, then yes, but not Alola Ninetales. No way.

For the fourth match: Red. Do I really need to explain why? Genwunner.

7) Azura - ok, this is a no-brainer. Lady of the Lake forever!!!
8) Eirika - as I said, she's a great character, not too girly, not too tomboyish, she's a good balance of the two IMO

That said, Match 3 is just plain cruel. It's my Pokemon and Fire Emblem waifu favorite characters versus each other. Just cruel.

1) Drowzee - Tapu Koko didn't even help save Lillie when he sooooooo could of. Nope, I saved Lillie and Nebby. All Koko did was give me a shiny stone, one that had no value until my friend's grandfather made me a sick Z Ring with part of the stone.

2) Celica - Maybe if Mewtwo had A-R-T like Celica...

3) Platinum - Dawn 2.0. The real thing is still better in my eyes, but Platinum is still awesome. Plus, she has the better of the blue hair.

4) Incineroar - I hate cats, but Warrior stole my heart.

For the first match: I pick Drowzee. I actually used it and Hypno way back on Pokemon Red. Kept my exact same team on the virtual console of the game.

For the second match: I pick Mewtwo. My favorite legend is Mew, but Mewtwo is a close second. See what I did there?

For the third match: I pick Platinum. I don't read the Pokemon Manga, but Sinnoh was an ok region.

For the fourth match: I pick Incineroar. I used it as my starter in Sun. Went with Decidueye the second time around, but Incineroar is still great.
