Not sure. The meeting still may not happen. Both leaders are playing silly games.
From the recent events, it looks like Kim will be on the back foot, given the steps they've taken to reconcile with South Korea. Sending those American prisoners back would've hurt North Korea too.

Apparently Trump is going to invite Kim to America and take him to McDonalds and do their negotiating over a couple of Big Macs and some fries because it's one of Kims life long dreams to travel to America and experience it first hand. You can't make this stuff up, crazy as it may sound I actually think Trumps strategy will work, they're both basically a couple of big kids.
Kim is a bit cautious about this summit to say the least. He arrived on the third jet, the first two being dummies and he takes he's own toilet everywhere. He's even got one in the back of his limousine for emergencies. The strange thing is though I can't imagine Obama having a relationship with Kim but somehow I have a feeling Trump and Kim will end up buddies. There's even talk if Trump pulls this off he should get the Nobel Prize award which would have been laughable a year ago when he was taunting Kim by calling him the 'rocket man'.
Kim was forced into this meeting with Trump. With the sanctions the US has put on North Korea Kim is looking at being overthrown by his own people if he doesn't sort something out quick. The thing is though, North Korea has a history of not keeping to their word so it wouldn't surprise me if Kim is just stalling. That nuclear power station North Korea destroyed the other week was scheduled to be destroyed as it was unusable anyway due to the damage incurred after six nuclear tests. Remember the old saying 'you can't con a conman'.
I hope for good things but Kim and good don't really go side by side, if it turns out that the meetings were not only meetings but were to actually enhance the international relations then I can say something good is about to happen.
Unfortunately I think it was a farce. Kim knew his country was struggling and any more resistance would've made Trump more likely to be unreasonable and sanction NK even more (for the record I support sanctioning NK). Trump also knew if he went to this meeting it would show the American people that he is a good President and would boost his chances for a 2020 victory. Kim is a ruthless dictator who isn't actually going to change his ways, much like Putin in Russia.
