Still don't know what I want to do. Looking at trade schools because no one is looking to go into a trade. Solid money there.
Maybe IT. Huge growth in that field means jobs will always be open.
But ideally, I'd like being an entertainment reviewer. I really enjoy talking about why I like a show or movie and explaining what story elements drew me in or out. I just don't know how to start doing that online though. A bit intimidating.
I'm a wandering tactician, here to help those in need. My strategies are yours.
Try to find a group of people (whether in real life or online) who share that interest, and discuss away. That's what I do with the NFL Discussion thread since I have a big interest in sport. Eventually it will come naturally, and it's not like you have to say professional or appropriate things when you're casually talking with others.

Posting back on topic rather than creating another thread.
There are latest posts in threads that are on Page 1 of the forums are as old as 4 months! As it stands, the NFL, HWYD, and songs threads are the only ones active or semi-active.
This is most definitely the beginning of the end. We could all band together and become super active, but it would be delaying the inevitable. Plus, so many people (including myself soon) are just busy. Old members are just never going to come back and be permanently active again. And what few new members join 98% of the time never return after making 1 or 2 posts. In the past fortnight there have been 3 or 4 new members come here and have all made between 1 and 3 posts. I guess all we can do is hope that they all decide to stay (but lets face it, why would they?) or hope social media dies...

Yes, the forums are in a dreadful state, it's unfortunate what happened, but other sites do have active forums, so it is possible, we just don't have much reason to post I guess - I've not been on here for ages and the last time it was just a couple of posts.
Yeah you are right there I think. We do have a lot of Pokemon traffic, but it's hard to convert them into forum posts because they just come for the cheats.
Exactly. Plus most people who wanna chat Pokemon or other specific series usually create a group on the big social media platforms or go to a website (for example, Serebii in regards to Pokemon) that is all about that game/series.
Well, it's the first time in at least 12 months that I've been posting with one other person simultaneously. And probably the first in 2 years since me and more than one other have.

To me that level of activity sounds extreme, but I vaguely remember when I first joined there was solid activity. Not too much, but not too little.
All we can do is post when we have time to. As long as people take a moment a few times a week, the forums will keep trodding along. We can't expect to have high activity these days.

I hope so mrgritt. The SuperCheats General Chat forums (and Forum Games) have been a big part of my life for almost 7 full years now. It's a shame you weren't around back in the good old days.
