An SOS to some old friends (former members, come chat)

We have had the following members return from inactivity. They only stayed for one or two days, but it was nice to catch up for a little bit. This list of members who came back, is proof that this thread does work:

It doesn't matter which one you vote for. It's simply a measuring tool.

Forum activity has been a topic of interest lately, so I thought I'd create this thread as a sort of beacon to summon former members here. Whether you want old members to come back permanently, or just for a day or two so that you can say hi, this is the place to do it.

And a message to all members, whether they are past or present, if you come back through this thread make a vote above. That way even if you leave, we still know that you and others have returned at some point.

So, basically just tag the member with the @ and " thing (however it goes. I always forget). And please, don't spam tag them. Just the one will do, so that if they ever return to the forums, they will be summoned here. If someone has already tagged a member, try not to tag them again. Also if you are in contact with old members in some way and you get in touch, tell them to come to this thread.

The hope is that when old members occasionally return to the forums, that other old members may be here at the same time. It would be great to see close to half a dozen come in and have some conversations.

To tag a member, make sure there is a line space above and below where you are typing, and type the following:

@"(insert name of member here)"

For example:

@."Warrior13" (but with the full stop removed.

It will then look like Warrior13

Whether he arrives or not is a very different story. What are the chances he will ever log onto SC again?

Surely you have some people to tag in, whether they are past or present members. I've done Freez, but what about some people from teams or Pokemon forums? I know this seems desperate from me, but who knows Lonely God. I might just succeed.

Personally though I'd prefer for old members to come back on their own terms rather than getting yet another email telling them to come back. With this thread, the hope is that IF a member returns, they come to this thread.

But the more I think about it, this was just a desperation attempt from me.

In all honesty evry time i co e back to see the site. I expect the forums to have disaperd.

Regardless of how long he stays, this thread's purpose is just to get old members to post in this particular thread. And I have succeeded!

And welcome back neptis! I seem to vaguely remember your art and it wasn't too bad. So if it has improved, it must be pretty good now.

Just got back from the UK. Two weeks on holiday with my family without going near the internet, otherwise I would have responded earlier.

I just got back from a 5 day holiday to Brisbane, so no need to apologise [insert laughing emoji which doesn't exist on SC]

I've been to Brisbane, nice place. Surfer's Paradise which is a train ride away up the coast is an awesome place. The beaches there are like nothing I've ever seen before, made the famous Bondi Beach in Sydney look like a little sand pit.

We went to the Gold Coast for a day as well. If beaches aren't your thing, there isn't a lot to do if you're an adult and don't have kids.

I hear what you are saying, luckily when I went the Indy 500 was on at Surfers Paradise and watching powerful American muscle cars tearing along the roads of the city was a sight to behold. Rafting down the rapids in the jungle was great fun too. To me laying around on the beach is a waste of a day, I'd rather do something.

Im the same now as you are sanzano. I was i compleat shutin loner weirdo when i was active here. Im a wildly diferent person now.

Im a keen rambler and outdoor person now. A fue things are the same im a gamer, digital artist and still a big book reader. But bar that im kinda the poler opisit
