I agree with Dennis, definitely will be traded before the draft. Value is bad now, but it will plummet if they draft Wilson before getting rid of him. Could you imagine the contract he would might receive if they cut him? I bet someone would pay him in that 20-30 million a year if he hit the market because their would be a spiked interest for him.

I?m beginning to wonder if the Jets are going to keep Darnold and cash in on the number 2 pick to build the team. Selecting Wilson is only a step across really, he?s unproven at the NFL level. If DeShawn Watson?s off field problems mean he can?t play in the NFL for a lengthy period of time because he is suspended Darnold?s value will suddenly rise as the Texans will need a replacement and San Francisco and Denver will be interested. Things are getting interesting just before the draft.

?The Miami Dolphins waived 2020 first-round offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson on Saturday, just days after acquiring him in a trade with the Tennessee Titans. Wilson was hours late for his physical and team onboarding process, skipped multiple optional workouts that he agreed to attend on Thursday and Friday and declined support service help that he was offered, all in his first official week with the team, sources said.?

Well, his career is likely over. Miami still needs an OT.

What a loser. Guy just wanted his signing bonus. No huge loss for Miami though.

It is a shame. He has talent. But apparently a head case. I wonder if any team will roll the dice on him.

Does anyone know what is happening with Rueben Foster? Have Washington released him, that guy could be one of the best linebackers in the league if he could stay healthy, A former first round pick from Alabama?s championship winning team.

He hasn't played in 2 years and has an arrest record with domestic violence allegations. Somebody might give him a chance but it'll be a 1 year minimum deal for sure.

Patriots are apparently high on Fields. Unless he falls, that?s going to take quite a jump. Miami will not trade with them, so they will have to pray the Falcons like Lance more than Fields (assuming the Top 2 are Lawrence and Wilson).

Anybody who deals with the Patriots so they can get a decent quarterback to continue their dominance of the NFL will instantly become the most hated team in football. I think the Falcons will take Fields and the Patriots will grab Mac Jones unless they trade with the 49rs in order to get Trey Lance. A lot now is depending on what happens to Watson.

Yeah, making a deal with the devil. But I think it could happen if Fields falls beyond #4. Bengals are expected to go OT if Sewell is there, and the Eagles and Lions have both said (though it could be a smokescreen) that they are sticking with the QBs they have.

I doubt the Eagles will draft a quarterback this year, they?ve got to at least give Hurts a chance after drafting him so highly otherwise he is a wasted pick plus he?s on a rookie contract which helps the Eagles spend money elsewhere for a couple more seasons. Hurts looked like he had potential from what I saw of him. He?s definitely more dangerous when he escapes the pocket than Wentz. Detroit I think will give Goff a chance as well seeing as they accepted him as part of the trade to get Stanford, and there?s been no talk as far as I am aware of Detroit trading him.

Iowa Pro Day:

WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette - 6'1" 180lbs and ran a 4.4. Nice vertical of 37 inches. Looks like a Day 2 guy. Packers are high on him, Washington and Buffalo also are keeping an eye on him.

WR Brandon Smith - 6'2" 220 and ran about the same as he did at The Athletic Combine, roughly 4.55-4.65. Not bad for a guy his size, but not great. Still has incredible hops, but wasn't as good today as his 45.5 mark at said combine. Looks like a mid to late rounder.

LB Nice Niemann - Brother plays for the Chiefs. Didn't know if he would be drafted, but someone will have to after his Pro Day. 6'3" 235lbs and ran a 4.45. Those are close to Shazier numbers, Mike. ;)

DT Daviyon Nixon - Did well, but not spectacular. 6'3" 315lbs, ran a 4.9 with a 1.66 ten yard split. Not bad. Didn't do bench press which hurts a bit. Looking more like a 2nd Rounder. Could be a steal as he has a great motor when on the field.

DE Chauncy Gholston - Came in at 6'5" 270lbs, ran a sub 4.8. Not bad. Crazy vertical for a big guy at 36 inches. Mid rounder.

OT/G Alaric Jackson - Clocked in at 5.4, nothing great but is 6'5" 320. Recently gave up veganism and has already added 15 pounds of muscle. Should continue. Put up 20 reps, not bad for longer arms. Mid rounder for sure, but he'll have to play Guard in the pros.

Missouri Pro Day:

LB Nick Bolton rans somewhat fast, coming in at sub 4.6. Not crazy fast, but people were thinking he might be as slow as 4.8. I am not sure if this sees him climb into the 1st Round though. Maybe late 1st, but I think likely high 2nd. We will see.

Florida State Pro Day:

DT Marvin Wilson did well, but nothing extraordinary. Looking like mid rounder after most thought he would be a 1st back in 2019. Never lived up to expectations.

CB Asante Samuel did good as well. 4.45-4.5. Most likely a Day 2 Guy, pretty deep DB Class.

WR Terry measured in at six-three and 205lbs, running a speedy 4.45 forty. He did himself well, but I still think he is a mid rounder. This WR Class is awesome.

DE Kaindoh and DE Robinson are both six-five 260lbs, and both ran a 4.7. Freak athletes with potential. More mid rounders.

Devonta Smith not participating at his Pro Day. Bad move. Great tape, but people are worried about his weight and durability. Scouts also wanted to know how fast he was as he seems to have more agility than pure speed. I would not be surprised if he drops a little, especially if Waddle blows up his Pro Day.

Oh my dear gawd... Pitts ran and posted a video of him running the 40 in 4.46...

Calvin Johnson: 6-5, 235lbs, 4.35
Kyle Pitts: 6-6, 240lbs, 4.46

If he improves that over the next week, he might seriously be able to play WR in the pros. He might go before all the WRs.

Yeah I didn't realize Devonta Smith was so small. 170 is tiny for the NFL. For comparison Robby Anderson plays at 190 and he looks like a stick compared to most guys. He's been durable though. Smith seems like he's not concerned, but I'm sure he'll bulk up a bit once he's drafted.

Kyle Pitts is a freak. Any chance the Dolphins take him at 3? Or the Bengals? The Eagles or Lions seem like the obvious spots for him but I'm starting to think the Eagles will take a QB.

I think there is a serious chance Miami ends up with Pitts since they already signed Fuller to pair with Parker on the outside. Easily could happen if the Fins trade down to #8, QBs go 1-4, Sewell #5 to Bengals, and then Eagles and Lions go WR instead of Pitts since they technically have capable starters at TE (Goedert, Hockenson). That would be very scary considering the Fins already have Gesecki.

Gesecki (Combine): 6-6, 250, 4.55
Pitts: 6-6, 240, 4.45

Could you imagine Parker+Fuller+Gesecki+Pitts+Harris/Etienne(if they go that route at #18)? Good luck.

Kyle Pitts would be a great pick for Miami. Does anyone know what they are doing at the quarterback position? The team has said it is Tua last week but I am not so sure, they weren't sold on him last year and benched him. Now Fitzpatrick is gone there is no safety net, I'd be a bit worried if I was a Dolphins fan. Then again a short wideout target like Kyle Pitts would solve the problem.

Mel Kiper released his newest mock draft. He has the QBs all going in the Top 4: Lawrence, Wilson, Fields (Panthers trade from Miami), Lance. He then has the Bengals going with Pitts over Sewell. He then has Chase, Smith, and Waddle going #6-8. He caps by having the Vikings trading up to #9 to nab Sewell.

I just cannot see Sewell dropping that far.
