Was gonna update my Final Mock Draft today, but the site I used won't let me since it's currently being featured on that given site. Might have to wait until Monday.

I'm still undecided as to where those quarterbacks will end up. I'm not totally convinced the Jets will select Zack Wilson, the guy played for a small college against inferior competition. I would have thought Justin Fields would be the safer pick, or even Mac Jones. The draft gets really interesting when Atlanta is on the clock. You may be onto something with that #6 Miami pick and either Washington or Denver moving up to get a quarterback. Makes sense for all the teams involved. Going to pick #4 is too costly, especially for Washington. With Matt Ryan having two years left on his contract Kyle Pitts has to be the choice. He is already being talked about as a future hall of famer.

Here is how I see the Top 5 and the give likelihood of each:
Jags - Lawrence 99%, Fields 1%
Jets - Wilson 95%, Fields 3%, Jones 2%
49ers - Fields 60%, Jones 40%
Falcons - Pitts/Fields 75%, Sewell 20%, Lance 5%
Bengals - Sewell/Pitts 95%, Chase 5%

I've honestly got no clue either. That 49ers pick at #3 will be the decider.

I am hearing the consensus is now Fields instead of Jones, something Dennis and I have been saying for like a week now. These talking heads are always a day late and a dollar short.

Still could be Jones, but I cannot see it after Fields was always second to Lawrence and killed both of his Pro Days.

If the 49ers take Fields at 3 that has me leaning towards the Falcons taking Pitts or Sewell and Jones and Lance falling a bit.

I am reading that if Fields is #3, Pitts will definitely be #4 to the Falcons. If Jones goes #3, it is more of a toss up.

Fields also betting favorites to go #3. Still, some media people clinging to Jones being the pick.

Can someone please explain to me why Zack Wilson is all of a sudden so highly rated that he goes second in the draft. When I started studying the draft Justin Fields was the clear number two draft and then all of a sudden his stock started to fall even though he was still winning games, one of which was against Trevor Lawrence's team. Zack Wilson is unproven in the top flight of college football, why did he suddenly become everybody's number 2 pick a few months back.

The Jets have to pick Justin Fields, surely? Proven against top flight college teams and excellent athletic skills. To me the guy looks like the next Deshaun Watson whereas Zack Wilson is another Joe Burrow.

I am confused about Mac Jones as well, when I first started studying this year's draft nobody had a good word to say about him, everybody said he was limited and he was projected as a second round pick at best. Now Mac Jones is a potential number 2 pick (according to Skip Bayless of Undisputed), what changed.

The way I see the first four picks are:
Jacksonville - Trevor Lawrence
N.Y. Jets - Justin Fields
San Francisco - Zack Wilson
Atlanta - Kyle Pitts
Cincinnati - Pennei Sewell

Mac Jones has limitations and Trey Lance needs work, I can't see either going in the top 6.

Wilson, from what I've seen, has more Mahomes in him than both Lawrence and Fields, if that makes sense. Off balanced throws, good on the run, live arm.

I like Fields more than Wilson as well, but Wilson will be going #2, Dennis. Lawrence then Wilson is almost a 100% lock at this point, so you have to Mock like that.

#3 is where it is more of a toss up. As I said, I think it's 60-40 Fields over Jones at this point. I would hope the 49ers realize that Fields is clearly better than Jones despite Jones being a little more Pro Ready at this point. Fields has the potential to be a superstar, Jones is probably close to hitting (if he hasn't already done so) his ceiling.

Unless some news suddenly is revealed to the world, I have it Lawrence, Wilson, Fields, Pitts, Sewell as the Top 5 in that exact order. I can't see anything changing for those picks over the next ten days for me as the 49ers aren't saying. Depending on who does go #3, it will probably bust all of our Mock Drafts,

A lot of people also just really don't like Ohio State QBs, too.

Yeah, but Fields is different. Born in Georgia and originally was going there for College before transferring to start, and Ohio State was a top program with a need at QB. Totally different than being a Buckeye from the start and a product of their system.

I'm starting to have a feeling that the Cowboys will trade up from #10 to #4 with Atlanta to draft Pitts. If you look at the Draft Value Chart, there isn't that much of a difference between the two. #4 is worth 1800 Points, while #10 is worth 1300 Points. If the Cowboys trade #10 and #44, the two are worth 1760 Points. If the Cowboys trade #10 and their 2022 1st Rounder, the two are worth 1890 Points. Both could be viable options for the Falcons if they want to trade out, allowing them to gain more picks while still getting a quality prospect such as Surtain/Horn, Slater, Parsons, Lance/Fields/Jones (if any of them fall that far), or Payne/Phillips.

I could see that but I think the Cowboys have a bigger need at CB and defense as a whole than they do another weapon. It could potentially screw the Giants and Eagles though which is the correct amount of petty.

Of course they need a CB and DE, but Jones loves Pitts. No stopping him if the love affair is that great.

Warrior - No way Dallas trade up that far. It could cost them a lot, and like Mike said CB is probably their biggest need. I mean sure they could, & they'd get an awesome player, but it would hurt their future drafts. Honestly, if they were to trade up to #4, they would pick Sewell since OT is a need for Dallas as well.

Dennis - My understanding is that early on, Fields was seen as a slightly better prospect than Wilson. But Fields' stocks have fallen, and Wilson is now seen as the clear 2nd best QB. It's more to do with Fields dropping, than anything to do with Wilson.

I've read more mock drafts, and all of them have Mac Jones at pick 3. Logically it makes zero sense, as he is the CLEAR 5th best QB in the draft. But there are obviously still rumours going around which are suggesting SF are drafting him. It' so risky. As far as i can tell he is a boom or bust prospect. If he busts, SF will have no 1st round picks for 2022 and 2023.

I am just saying I would not be surprised if the Cowboys jump up for Pitts. It is very feasible to jump from #10 to #4 without giving up loads of future picks.

Everything I am reading says the 49ers are leaning toward Fields since his last Pro Day. I still think there is a 60-40 chance they go Fields over Jones.

Updated My Final Mock Draft: https://walterfootball.com/mocks/publishedmock/72141

A couple of pick changes. Will be updating again next week. Starting to lean in a different direction with a few picks, but I'm staying pat with those for now.

1,972 views of your final mock Warrior!

As always, it's a very good mock. But please, stop copying the Football Master with some of your picks :p

By fielding calls, does that mean we are receiving offers, want to receive offers, or both? From what I read it sounds like we've received 2 offers, but nothing about whether we are actually interested in trading down.

The only teams I can think of who would want to move up, are:
Denver
New England
Washington
Chicago

Denver should be able to get a QB anyway. Miami won't allow New England to get a franchise QB. That would only leave Washington and Chicago as realistic chances. My guess is that New England and Washington tried.

My Final Mock has been up for weeks. It's the other way around. ;)

It means they're getting offers and listening to them. Just think how Philly will look if Miami flips #6 for triple what they paid, something they could easily get if fall back far enough. Miami could then use one of those additional picks to leapfrog back up if one of the prospects start to fall.

I read an article this morning about the Cowboys possibly trading up to #4 for Pitts. Now why does that sound familiar? lol

Dallas won't trade up for Pitts, they need the draft capital to sort out the defense. After taking Lamb last year it would be crazy for the Cowboys to go after another offensive playmaker.
