Even in his best year 2018, he still missed 3 games, didn't hit 1000 yards, and had 4 total fumbles. He did have a decent year receiving but even then you can easily replace those numbers in the draft. Even in that season you could barely call him a top 10 RB, and last season I would hesitate to call him top 20-25.

If Pick #6 looks funny, I'm basically saying trade between the Phins & Broncos or just in case the Bengals do pick Chase (as I wrote in its description).

I can't believe it, the 49rs are actually going after Mac Jones, they plan offloading Garrapollo in October, something they wouldn't be able to do if they take Lance or Fields because they need time to develop wheras Jones will start straight away.

I'm not hearing that. Everything I'm reading and hearing is the 49ers are going to take Lance, allowing him to sit behind Jimmy G like Mahomes did Alex Smith for a year.

Kyle Shanahan wants to win now, he has his team in place. Just needs a competent quarterback who is accurate. That's Mac Jones not Trey Lance. My sources are Colin Cowherd and Skip Bayless, who are yours?

Those are just tv hosts. No offense, and I love both of those guys, but they are just saying their opinions.

The momentum is Lance. Vegas has switched to Jones with Lance the worst odds, most are thinking in an attempt for the house to win big. Anonymous QB Coaches raved about Lance, saying he has incredible work ethic, the strongest arm, high IQ, great mobility, and best ceiling of all the prospects. Insiders are starting to switch. Michael Lombardi was the first to lower it to Lance and Jones; Rich Eisen has since come out and said he is hearing Lance will be 3rd. Not to mention, lets remember the 49ers made the trade after only seeing Wilson and Lance Pro Days.

If it is not Lance, it will be Jones. But all signs beginning to point to Lance. Shanahan and Lynch gave up three 1st Rounders for this QB, this is for the long term. Lance would sit behind Jimmy G like Mahomes did Smith before they trade him after next year. 49ers made the mistake of not drafting Mahomes, and I think this is their makeup chance.

Chiefs trade for LT Orlando Brown!!!

Chiefs Receive:
Orlando Brown
2021 2nd
2022 6th

Ravens Receive:
2021 1st
2021 3rd
2021 4th
2022 5th

Big price tag for the Chiefs, but they clearly like Brown far more than the OTs they would have at #31.

Gonna have to update my Mock Draft again... lol Guessing Ravens will add a WR with the extra pick.

Kind of a dumb trade for the Ravens, IMO. Giving a huge piece to a conference rival for a low first round pick. The extra picks pretty much cancel out.

We all knew Brown wanted traded. It was coming.

Ravens expected to sign Alejandro Villanueva to replace Brown at RT.

Updated My Final Mock Draft: https://walterfootball.com/mocks/publishedmock/72141

Adjusted for the Orlando Brown Trade. Added an additional WR, an OT falls to the 2nd.

Still like how things have turned out. Unless big news, I can't see me changing much before the Draft.

Villanueva is just okay. He's definitely more known for his off-field stuff than his play. A definite downgrade in that respect IMO.

I think it is okay, at least for next season. He is declining, but he will be playing RT now, which is much less pressure for the most part. I am not sure anyone they could get at the end of the 1st would be better than him at RT for one season. Obviously, they will need to find a long term answer in 2022 if they do go with him as a placeholder.

Fair enough, and they were clearly letting Brown walk after this season anyway. It's just tough to watch the Chiefs fill their biggest hole so easily.

Yeah, and for pretty cheap too. All they did was slip about 25-30 spots in the draft and give up a 3rd & 4th, not much if Brown turns out to be their long term answer at LT. Plus, they have two second rounders to get quality role players.

Yeah. Brown's contract is expiring, but the Chiefs have structured Mahomes' contract so it can be restructured down the line and give them a bunch of cap space. Plus it's so long term that when it comes time to finally pay the bill the cap will likely be much higher and make that less of a factor.

I think you are right Warrior13 regarding Trey Lance going to San Francisco. For the 49rs to give up that much draft capital the player they select is there for the long haul. Mac Jones has a low cieling and he had elite wide recievers to throw to so to me he is in the same bracket as Tua, how good is he on a level playinf field.

Strange the Ravens deal one of their best players to a rival, that usually doesn't happen.

Yeah, Lance is sounding like the pick unless something changes. The 49ers would look quite bad if they went with Jones. You didn't pick Mahomes or Watson, and then when you trade up for your guy years later, you give up three 1sts for Jones? Eww.

Orlando Brown wanted out because he wants to play LT and prove he can play at blindside in hopes of making more money when his contract is up. The Ravens really had no choice but to trade him. I give them credit for getting something for him, even though it wasn't much. Makes you wonder how bad the other offers for Brown must have been if they chose to give him to the Chiefs, who one could argue is their biggest hurdle to overcome in the AFC.

Accidentally posted in the other thread, here it is again

My final mock as of today April 28th:

#1 Jax - QB Lawrence
#2 NYJ - QB Wilson
#3 SF - QB Jones
#4 ATL - TE Pitts
#5 CIN - WR Chase
#6 MIA - QB Fields
#7 DET - OL Sewell
#8 CAR - WR Waddle
#9 DEN - LB Parsons
#10 DAL - CB Surtain
#11 NYG - OL Slater
#12 PHI - WR Devonta Smith
#13 LAC - OL Darrisaw
#14 MIN - OL Vera-Tucker
#15 NE - QB Lance
#16 ARI - CB Horn
#17 LV - LB Owusu-Koramoah
#18 MIA - LB Jamin Davis
#19 WFT - CB Farley
#20 CHI - OL Leatherwood
#21 IND - Edge Paye
#22 TEN - Edge Phillips
#23 NYJ - Edge Oweh
#24 PIT - RB Harris
#25 JAX - S Mohrig
#26 CLE - DL Barmore
#27 BAL - OL Jenkins
#28 NO - WR Bateman
#29 GB - CB Newsome
#30 BUF - Edge Ojulari
#31 BAL - WR Marshall II
#32 TB - RB Etienne

Pretty safe mock for my final one. Really it's that SF #3 pick that could drastically mess up everyone's mock. Also unsure that Jones will fall all the way to NE at 15, and that the Titans will take an edge rusher over one of the offensive lineman. I also think that some of these lineman and pass rushers in the bottom 12 picks are pretty interchangeable, as are the second tier receivers and corners. The toughest pick was maybe TB of all things, I'm not exactly sure Etienne will fall that far, nor am I certain Harris will drop to the Steelers.
